Bottle Tree is a redo! - Edit
This was a trendy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The eatery had indoor and outdoor areas to dine. It was a chilly night so we opted for an indoor table. Venue was small but cozy for a date night. For my husband and I it was perfect. The appetizer menu had a choice of a hummus plate or mushroom empanadas. We ordered the empanadas and wished that we had ordered more! For an entre we had the noodles with vegetables in a curry sauce. Normally vegetables means carrots and cabbage. To our surprise the dish had oyster mushrooms, bok choy, red bell pepper, eggplant, onions, and asparagus. Service was great and the bar served crafted beverages. My husband and I agree It is a redo!

Wow - what a great way to celebrate my birthday! - Edit
From the first time our server came to the table, I knew we were in for a good evening. I told her that we had vegan and pescatarian diners in our party. She went back to talk with the chef and came back with the specific items on the menu that they would meet each category or could be customized for us. We started with the Beet Carpaccio with the goat cheese crema served on the side to allow everyone to enjoy it - and we did! They removed the cheese from the Wild Mushroom and Chard Enchiladas, and it was delicious. The pescatarians both had the NC Trout. We also shared a great bottle of wine - Baileyana Firepeak Pinot Noir. Wish we lived closer to be able to try their different seasonal menus!

Great addition to the Belmont restaurant scene. Cool atmosphere and great staff! Can't wait to try more of the vegan items.

Vegan Scallops to die for. - Edit
The vegan scallops with coconut cream oyster mushrooms and grilled bok choy was amazing. What a great combination using tofu as a scallop. Perfect texture. Highly recommend
