Piacevole cena a due passi dal centro di Bologna - Edit
Un’ottima esperienza culinaria dove la ricerca incontra il mondo vegetale, abbiamo provato gli gnocchetti lilla con crema di anacardi e la tagliata redefine meat, a cui va un punto di merito per come è stata trattata. Nel locale si respira un’aria accogliente, inoltre il servizio si è dimostrato attento e gentile. Consiglio la prenotazione.

I loved everything I tried! The server was very nice and the food was excellent. The chocolate Pistachio cheese cake was amazing! I highly suggest making a reservation, as there are not many tables and the restaurant was full when I was there.

Read morePremetto che ho preso solo il burrito, I plin e la crema catalana. Forse avevo aspettative alte, ma non mi ha entusiasmato.
Ai plin mancava sapore, il burrito aveva troppi condimenti ( una salsa arancione e il formaggio vegetale) che coprivano gli altri ingredienti., la crema catalana era troppo liquida. Avrei utilizzato insaporitori come kombucha o kefir per dare un tocco in più.
Visto l’alto gradimento di quasi tutti, il problema probabilmente è mio, perché mi piace mangiare più semplice.

After a week struggling to be vegan in this part of Italy, I was so happy to have a fresh and tasty meal and glass of wine here. The location is great, tucked on a side street in the city center with outdoor space, inside looked lovely too. The staff was a wee bit aloof but overall great place.

Botanica Lab is a centrally-located vegan restaurant with a menu that allows you to try something a little bit different should you choose. For the less adventurous, there are also options like burgers and a wrap. The food was fresh and bursting with flavours. The atmosphere was chilled and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was really hungry and wanted to like it but the food lacked flavor, the texture was off. I ordered a tomato soup and it was thick as porridge. I also got the spring rolls which lacked vegetables but had a heavy amount of cream. Felt heavy when it’s a dish that should be light and crunchy.

We had the triangles, the burrito, the unfried vegetables and the creme brulée. The first two were really great. We took the vegetable side dish because we thought that the main would not be enough, but we were not that hungry, so it was a bit much. The desert was nice.

The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere and the menu is inventive and something different. The presentation is beautiful and the dishes tasted nice, although it was not spectacular. After all the great reviews, we expected a bit more but it was just standard, to be honest. The dishes itself were not huge so we ordered a side dish as well.
