Geweldig

Je moest eigenlijk reserveren, hadden we niet gedaan maar er werd een tafel geregeld.
Heerlijke scones en verse thee.
Heel lieve bediening.
De tearoom zit in een sjiek 5 sterren hotel, iedereen was even vriendelijk en de prijs viel reuze mee
De twee jonge dames die ons zo lief hielpen waren Annabel en Abi, was ik even vergeten

Vegan afternoon tea

Went here for afternoon tea with some friends. Made sure to advise at least a week in advance that I was vegan - it wasn’t a problem. I had some cucumber sandwiches, pickle & vegan cheese sandwiches and two small scones with jam. They were very apologetic because there was no vegan clotted cream for the scones but I wasn’t bothered. I had five small sweet items - I was only able to eat two as I was so stuffed! My favourite was a chocolate mousse cake. They are also allergen aware as they advised that one of my vegan cakes had pistachio as an ingredient before bringing it out (one of the party was allergic - it wasn’t an issue as the allergy was mild, but nice they thought ahead). I had mint tea so didn’t ask about milk alternatives.

Cons: Fairly expensive
