I wish the app would let me give this place 5 stars. Too many options to choose from—the right kind of dilemma to have for a vegan family in Branson. My husband enjoyed the guacamole enchiladas with red sauce and he would definitely get it again. I had the nopales enchiladas with green sauce and also found them to be delicious! Our daughter had one cup of the black beans and liked them so much that she ate the bowl that came with my plate. Salsa was very fresh.

After a long day at the water park this place was an awesome find! My son was so happy to get to eat at a Mexican restaurant! The menu is clear and labeled for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free!!! The waitress was so nice and the food was great!

Clearly marked vegan & gluten-free options - Edit
Half our herd is vegan, half are omnivores... And then there's my gluten-free, vegan son. There's an entire page of veggie/vegan menu options, several of which are clearly marked as gluten-free. My son can easily choose between several entrees, and they'll gladly swap out sides or make other simple alterations to make sure he gets exactly what he wants... Well worth the hour drive, and you get a full plate for the price.

The back of the menu is vegetarian/vegan, and they mark the meals with different symbols, as well as a gluten free symbol.
Read moreI got the cactus enchiladas one day (with RED SAUCE, not the green sauce), the Beyond Meat crispy tacos another, with an added fried plantains side and guacamole side each time. The chips are fried separately and thus gluten free with no meat containments, and the salsa is delicious (served in little bowls, so everyone gets their own!)
Great service, very nicely decorated on the inside.
If you get a fancy drink (like a virgin pina colada) be sure to tell them no whipped cream.
My picky eater 4 yo only likes white rice, so I ordered their coconut rice as a side instead of the standard Mexican rice (which is orangey with veg, and might not be vegan anyways)

This is so good. Branson is shaping up to be a great place for vegan and gluten free as well. Love the rice a lot. I always get the tamales. They have beyond mead too but I'm not a meat texture fan. I just love this place so much.

Chips are light and airy, Vegan meat alternative is delish, salsa is great, and the veggie gluten free enchiladas with red sauce was so yummy. They add a coconut flavor to their white rice and their black beans were so flavorful and fantastic. My kids had vegan meat enchilada plate with Refried beans and Mexican rice and they couldn’t stop saying how delicious it was too. So good! What a great spot for plant based peeps!

I ordered the picadillo enchiladas and a vegan tamale. I love Mexican food and it was wonderful that they had a totally separate and easy to understand menu for vegans and vegetarians. It was a bit expensive for 2 for lunch, but the portions were good.

Let’s be honest, no one comes to Branson expecting good vegan options, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at this restaurant. I had the Beyond Meat Chimichanga with a side of fries and broccoli and it was amazing! Perfect portion size and, not to mention, great service!

Delicious, but small portions - Edit
Lots of vegan options to choose from and as previously stated, beyond meat crumbles. I did leave hungry however after a chimichanga meal. The portion was not as big as I am used to for a Mexican food place. The flavors are delicious and fresh however with coconut rice and fresh black beans.

Vegan and vegetarian options prominently displayed on the back page. This is not the usual “bean burrito without cheese” or veggie fajitas option I’m used to. They offer several beyond meat versions of traditional favorites, in addition to some of the more common vegan options you might be used to. The servers are also on top of things and asked me first if I was vegan, which always inspires confidence!

If it were not for the chips and salsa my wife and I would need to go somewhere else to fill up. I got the chicken fajita- no vegan but four pieces of chicken and five pieces of green bell pepper and loads of onion. My wife had a bowl that was smaller than a typical cereal bowl. She could not find the fake meat laughed when she saw the very small limp of guacamole. It was terrible. When we first got there they had a note that they have a new vegetarian and vegan menu. It is actually a vegetarian menu of which they do not substitute items to make it vegan they just take stuff away. Years ago I loved this place but not now. Extremely disappointed. Strongly recommend going somewhere else.

Botanas has so many vegan options available. Th Cactus tostadas without cheese were delicious and my Beyond Meat burrito was perfection. My daughter loved her Beyond Meat enchilada. The service came with a smile and speedy, delectable food. I'm sure we will visit tomorrow.
