place is hidden away in alittle corner of new bern ave in Raleigh NC. I got the Boss of Burgers with fries. It was really good.

My husband and I found this restaurant on Happy Cow while we were in the area, so we drove over and saw the sign about only accepting mobile orders/the lobby being closed. We pulled up the website to place our order and realized there was no option for a plain burger or a way to get rid of the sauce/condiments on any burger offered. My husband called to see if he could place a phone order so they’d get his burger correct, and all they said was “Mobile orders only” and hung up on him. We drove over to Burger King and got some impossible whoppers instead, because we were shocked at how rude and unaccommodating the staff were. Can’t say we’ll ever be back to try the food.

I've had a fair amount of beyond and impossible burgers at various restaurants right now and I have to say, I expected more from a vegan-specific place, especially at the price point. The deluxe burger was okay but it really did feel more like I was eating McDonalds than a burger that cost me $16. Even with the sauce put on the side the burger was soggy and barely holding together. I was also interested in other sandwiches but they only offered a buy 2 option and not the ability to purchase a single non-burger sandwich.

Great Food. Odd Location - Edit
Loved the food. Really good. Great service. Just too far from my house to take home without it getting cold. Eating in my car is not my fave. So, I would have given a 5 for everything except, I would really like a place to sit that NOT my car. 😉

had a picnic at pullen park after ordering from boss of vegan and it was delicious! i wish i took better pics of the burger i ordered. their homemade lemonade is so worth it too!

My first visit made go back for a second visit which not the same, I’m 100% so I’ve gone back few time to give benefit of the doubt and also to support the Vegan business. Would not be my first suggestion if asked.
