Very happy I tried this place. I got a vegan sandwich made with fried tofu and an order of breaded mushrooms. Everything was delicious. I picked it up on a busy Friday night and everything was ready and the service was excellent and very friendly.

The fried tofu and cauliflower are very delicious 4 stars. The fries are too salty for me and the onion rings are sometimes too breaded. I do not enjoy the open faced sandwiches.

Had the cauliflower wings, sweet potato puffs, and sampled the chili. They were all incredible and the service was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

The menu is half vegan and half not so it was a great place for me and my non-vegan husband. I had the vegan hott chick and we split some fries. Be warned that this is a HUGE serving. We barely touched the fries and I couldn’t get through my sandwich. I found this to be really spicy and removed a ton of jalapeños from the slaw so if you aren’t a spicy food person, maybe stick with the regular chicken sandwich.

I love how there are many vegan options! You can get vegan chicken either as tofu or as fried cauliflower. The French fries are amazing! The giant pretzel is also delicious! Make sure to ask for it without butter. Overall, this is a perfect place to get vegan comfort food.

This is a great option for grabbing dinner with your non-veg friends! I got the Cleveland Hot Vegan sandwich and split the Vegan Boss Mac with my non-veg boyfriend. He loved the mac! It was nice to have a place that we could each get what we wanted.

Both experiences at Boss have been decent but nothing I would scream on the mountain tops about. I really enjoy their tofu and cauliflower wings with the citrus bbq. The first time I ordered onion rings, they were good but the second time they were underdone and stuck together in the container. The vegan mac n cheese was awful, no flavor and not creamy or cheesy at all. I would come back for just some wings and to try their huge vegan soft pretzels!

Wow, first visit with my ‘Omni’ husband and the fact that he could eat what he wanted and I did not have to worry about my food choices made it a win for both of us. Delicious vegan options so you do not miss out on anything.

Read moreThe Southern Chick sandwich was very good; tempura-style crust on thick, chewy tofu. Also good pretzel bun. The accompanying BBQ sauce was not used as, for this consumer, it was too salty. The sandwich packed plenty of flavor, and had pickles on top, and tasted excellent without the sauce.
The vegan chili was, again, for this consumer, too salty. The MacN Cheese was okay with a thin cheese sauce.
Staff service was friendly and energetic, helpful and efficient. Interior is noisy.

Boss ChickNBeer has a lot of vegan options. Their fried tofu is very good, seasoned well, and crispy. I liked that they have a selection frier for vegan options and they have a list of all their vegan sauces and menu items. Their regular menu also has clearly listed vegan choices. They do serve regular chicken wings as well, but that’s a nice option when not everyone is vegan.
