We tried the Pupusas and the Tacos Al pastor. Also the Afogato Brownie. Everything was so fresh and delicious I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is wonderful and the people are super nice! Will come back.

Everything was perfect, the place is pretty, the staff is nice and the food is delicious. I had the tempeh sandwich there for lunch and omg so so good ! Then I ordered on Uber Eats just before they closed in the evening and had the Cesar salad it was so so good as well, same for the carrot cake.

Read moreI ordered the sandwich with fries - it tasted good, not amazing but defo edible & fresh. Presentation was pretty bland. But I would return as I'd like to taste for of the menu. I took a dessert to go which was yummy! It cost £14.72 for a sandwich/chips & a cake

I loved the matcha latte and the americano I got. I also had a piece of carrot cake which was perfectly moist and delicious. However, i didn’t like the actual food very much but it was edible. The quesadilla had huge chunks of mushroom and would’ve been better if they used shredded oyster mushrooms. The pupusa had a funky flavor to me too. But overall great cafe and good vibes

The food was okay. Everything looked better than it tastes but they have a ton of options so maybe I just got the wrong dish. Chocolate cake has the perfect texture but that’s about it. They serve fresh juices & cocktails which I appreciated after the lackluster experience.

This is a great place to go sit with your computer, get work done and relax. It has a nice vibe, the food is ok. I would not say the salad I had was amazing, but I am happy to go try different dishes.

Read moreFirstly, my wife had to see me eating because they would bring my Vegandilla first and she had to wait around d 5-7min for her dish. What’s that?!
I can never understand why restaurants would bring food for one person and keep the other waiting. The point of going out and ordering food is to eat it together, isn’t it?
On top of that, they brought my French fries 15 min after I already ate.
We were sitting at the table with no water, we asked, but the bartender was too busy chatting to someone so I had to go and ask someone else. Good food but bad customer service.

We had a 10m training run to do from Belén and had this on our run too destination for brunch. It really didn’t disappoint, so much so we’re changing our last night plans to head back for an early dinner (they shut at 7pm). The best plant based food we’ve found anywhere globally as yet on our travels. Make the effort to go, you won’t be disappointed 🧡

The place is like a little oasis in sea of concrete. Plants everywhere. Nicely done. The food was also a hit. I was happy to be able to sample a traditional Costa Rican breakfast (casado), veganized. The del bosque toast is also delicious. Great service. Reasonable price.

The food is tasty, the staff was s friendly and the atmosphere is cosy. And in addition to the delicious menu they also have a little shop with vegan and sustainable/plastic free products like yoga mats, deo, refillable toothpaste bottles and more 🙏 I bought a sunscreen, a toothpaste and a little bag. I was bot the biggest fan of the taste of the toothpaste but I like te concept of it being plastic free abd frefillable☺️ The rest was just all over perfect! I enjoyed it very much and will surely come back when I pass by San Jose again!

Set in a home compound, this place definitely feels like home and is by far one of the best places to eat in San Jose if not Costa Rica as a whole.
Read moreA varied menu, the food was just awesome - flavours worked well and what they didn't have, alternatives were offered which was as great if not better. Customer service was very interpersonal and absolutely 5 star hands down.
I'll encourage anyone out in San Jose to give this Bosque Urbano a go, be it breakfast, brunch or dinner or even a drop by to grab a snack or their freshly made juices.
A definite gem of a restaurant, muchas gracias!

Went there as I was in the neighbourhood. I loved the atmosphere! Sat right in front of the succulents. My iced coffee came with whipped cream! I had the adffogato brownie and apple fritters with ice cream! Also the bbq quesadilla was bomb! Highly recommended 😍
