A homemade evening meal away from home. Don’t be put off that’s it’s not in a main restaurant area, and that it’s not bustling with customers in the down season. We had cabbage soup for starters bread with chick pea pate followed by a buffet mixture of beans, rice and veg packed with flavours. The chocolate cake after was fantastic, topped off with rose tea. Not harsh on the wallet either. €25ish for four courses for two people.

This is a very cozy place where you get delicous and healthy food made with love! It‘s a buffet for 10 Euros which includes a soup, 4 different meals, black Rice and salad, bread with hummus. You could also top your meals with seeds and sesame. Thanks a lot to the very friendly woman who cooked it!

Das Restaurant war nicht schwer zu finden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, leider war das Buffet aber schon ziemlich dezimiert worden, so dass uns die Besitzerin den Nachtisch erließ.

Es gibt 2 Kinderspielecken, kleine selbstgemachte Produkte zum Kauf und jede Menge Yoga-Literatur.
Es hätte etwas wärmer(Dezember) und gemütlicher sein können. Trotzdem sind wir sehr zufrieden und satt gegangen!

My friend and I arrived at 4 pm. The buffet was closed but the owner welcomed us and told us she would make us some plates. Wow. She was so sweet!! And quite a good vegan chef.
Read moreShe served us broad bean soup a little starter lentil bread with home made basil aoli. Then we got plates with a perfect combination for our macros. Some couscous and mushrooms, a shredded kale dish, potatoes and pumpkin, and some broad beans that came from her mother’s garden. They were my favorite.
Add some desert and a bottle of white and we couldn’t be happier.

Convenient place for vegan food in Sintra - Edit
We were late and almost missed this restaurant, then we thought it is closed as the girds were down in front of some windows. Finally we found the door. The friendly owner offered to create a menu consisting of lentil soup with bruschetta and as main a mix of vegetables (probably coming from the buffet earlier the day). Cakes were still available at the buffet and we had tea and a vegan version of Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious and to a convenient price.

Homely vibes and relaxed meal with a personal touch - Edit
I was at the restaurant for an early dinner and warmly greeted by the owner, who explained us that she would bring a set of dishes with mixed ingredients and vegetables to the table (probably we were off-hour for the buffet), so we did not exactly know what we would be eating but I’m generally open to ‘surprise’ meals as long as I know it’s all in line with my diet 😄. We got some very nice bread and chickpea spread with different herbs and spices as a starter, then we had a vegetable soup with cauliflower, zucchini, onion and other veggies and as main dish some mixed veggies (lentils, aubergines, potatoes, cabbages). There was a dessert buffet which we were invited to have some cakes from, however we were not informed upfront that these are not included in the fixed menu as they are charged per piece (2.80€ each). Unaware of that we tried a little bit of everything with a little surprise when paying (for the menu we paid 10 per person, which was pretty good value IMO). In general all good still, as the price is accessible and the portions abundant. I would still recommend a visit to vegan friends in Sintra and looking for a simple, homemade meal prepared with love!
