Always a reliable option - Edit
In general, I try to avoid chains, but I make an exception for the Lounges. They have a reasonably-priced separate vegan menu with a very good choice of dishes and always give excellent service.
Read moreI had some time to kill before I could check-in to my hotel, so I came to Bordo, knowing (from Google streetview) there are pillars immediately outside that I could lock my bike to (long cable or chain lock required) and keep an eye on.
Ordered a coffee (oat milk 40p extra) and tapas (5 vegan choices). Tapas hadn't arrived after 20 mins so I asked at the bar, and it turned out something has gone wrong with my order. As I was killing time, I said I didn't mind waiting longer, and asked for another coffee and a dessert (4 vegan choices) which they have me on the house, together with profuse apologies.
Pros: Separate vegan menu with lots of choices, Excellent service, Cycle parking in view of table
Cons: Murdered animals served here :-(, Drinks menu has no vegan labelling apart from wine

Offering a separate menu for vegans, this place has a good variety of options.
Read moreService was fast. Atmosphere was good.
We went for a vegan burger and a tapas selection. All the food was really nice and tasty. The only downside we had was that we did request extra vegan bacon which we did not receive on the burger.
I would love to go back for more food and drinks.
