The new Bootleggers bar looks fabulous, it's set inside converted shipping containers yet feels classy and upscale enough for a special occasion. It's SO cosy because of the fireplace, and if you can get a seat upstairs the view of the sea is gorgeous.
Read moreI was a little disappointed when I first read the menu, as the only non-meat/fish dishes are vegetables. However, the menu description sells these dishes short. I ordered a half roasted cauliflower, which arrived drenched in this delicious, peanut-buttery teriyaki sauce, cooked perfectly and delicious! It's so much better than the standard veggie-burger offering; these dishes have had thought put into them and are cooked beautifully. There's a focus on sourcing local ingredients too, which is great.
