nice juice but no food

I should have known by the name "juice bar" but I saw reviews mentioning salads etc and thought I could get something along with my juice. Unfortunately it was only juices, smoothies and raw slices. They had banana bread too but this was sadly not vegan. Juice and slices both good, slices very rich with coconut oil. Downside cost about $30 for two small juices and two slices.

Pros: juice, vegan options

Cons: expensive , not much food

Nice fresh food in the heart of Broadbeach

I went here with a friend yesterday for brunch.

We chose a fruit salad and kale salad. If you bought them to take away, you would've got them in a typical plastic container.

However the young, friendly guy serving us asked if we wanted to eat them here. We said yes.

I loved the fruit salad i got. It was placed on a bed of puffed, slightly crunchy and sweet cereal, with a dollop of (vegan) coconut yoghurt on top. I wasn't expecting the cereal - i didn't even necessarily want it, but the combination tasted great.

The salad was fresh - unlike what you might end up with in a supermarket - the cereal base was a great foil for the fruit, and the coconut yoghurt on top finished it off wonderfully. Plus, this only cost $5! Great value for such fresh tasting fruit.

My friend said her kale salad was very good and had an excellent dressing.

All in all, full marks for the food and friendly service!

I'd give it 5, but Bootleg isn't - yet?? - vegan.

Pros: fresh food, friendly service, good value

Cons: not vegan, not vegan, not vegan

Being on holidays, we had to visit this cafe for breakfast. Delicious vegan slices and juices. Cute outside dining area. Friendly service.

Great place

We were just passing through Broadbeach and decided to stop in here for a look. My partner and I both tried the 'Baby face' smoothie, it was really yummy and fresh. After having a hard time deciding from all of the yummy raw, vegan treats in the cabinet, we decided to try a piece of the Cookies and Cream slice and it was very delicious. The staff here were also super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
