Read moreIk ga vooral voor hun vegetarische stoverij, omdat je dat niet makkelijk vindt (spijtig genoeg voorlopig enkel tijdens winterperiode), maar ook hun andere salades zijn super lekker!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Als ich sagte, dass ich vegan bin, erklärte sie, dass fast alles veganisierbar ist.
Read moreEs sind wenige Gerichte auf der Karte, täglich eine Tagessuppe und eine Quiche, die es auch in vegan gibt. Es ist eine große Lokalität, die auch einige Tische draußen direkt davor hat. Allerdings fährt da auch die Straßenbahn lang.
Sehr empfehlenswert. Es war sehr lecker und sättigend.

We discoverd Boon thanks to Happy Cow, and it was a very nice discovery. We tried the salad with pumpkin, curry and rice (very good) and also the quiche with salmon and broccoli, with salad as a side. Big portions so we haven't ate the dessert but we will come back soon. Even if there's no table service, the waitress/owner has been really nice to us! Suggested.

Delicious fresh lunchtime food. 3 vegans tried 3 dishes and loved all of them. Perfect tomato soup, dumplings and salads. Filling, good value and served with a lovely smile.

Boon is a spacious, modern lunch spot right across the Castle of the Counts. We took the vegan big (mixed) davai salad and a soup of the day with bread. I had never heard of davai before, so it was a pleasant discovery. These dumplings are stuffed with either a spicy filling or a "cheezy" filling (which was more spicy to my taste). I liked it, although the davai had a slightly bitter aftertaste. The plate could have been balanced out better by adding more greens, especially because it was expensive (16 Euros). I was also not sure if it was completely vegan - the dressing might have contained yoghurt and the menu was not very clear about it.

Read moreI had a vegetarian salad with sweet potatoes, lentils and fresh figgs and goat cheese. My partner had the vegan BOON salad of the house. Everything was fresh and very tasteful. The restaurant is cosy and has a nice art deco setting. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Not much choice, but nice atmosphere - Edit
The menu here is not very large but the selection is nice and you can always ask to build your own salad. The menu also changes with the seasons. This location used to be a well known gelatteria and they have kept some of the original design work inside which makes for a very quaint building
