One of my favorite places on Earth

I have eaten here hundreds of times. It's one of the most peaceful places on the planet and offers great options for vegans and non-vegans. The menu features a couple of great vegan dishes and almost always a vegan special soup. Live music at times, dog-friendly, good service, beautiful courtyard, tremendous bookstore with great readings/events. Art cinema directly across the street. Steps away from Miracle Mile shopping. What else could you want😉 Perfection!

Grab a bite surrounded by books!

This beautiful bookstore/cafe has all the charm of the traditional Coral Gables' houses. They do have vegan items in the menu, so dont be shy to come in. I tried the tofu mushroom stir fry and it was really good, it is garnished with couscous, veggies and a teriyaki like sause. I enjoyed my meal sitting at the patio; yummy food, cool breeze, blue sky above you...

Pros: Atmosphere. Get lost looking at all the books

Cons: Let them know if you don't want as much teriyaki

3.5 Good healthy Vegan Options

Me, my husband and my dog often go here for happy hour. They have some lovely vegan meal options that aren’t junk food which is always nice. The only thing I don’t like is the avocado on toast as it’s very bland with no seasonings or anything. Could do with some salt and a bit of olive oil and paprika or something. They have a nice selection of vegan deserts too. The service lately has been pretty bad and you do wait a while to get served but maybe that’s a staff issue that will resolve soon. Lovely atmosphere and courtyard.

Pros: Good healthy vegan options, Beautiful atmosphere, Dog Friendly

Cons: Can be slow service, Avocado toast very bland

loved it ❤️

It’s a romantic , cozy place. I had the couscous with mushrooms and a tortilla soup, both were amazing. Highly recommended! They also have a lot of vegan books , low lights and great music. Service was on point. I would give 5 stars if I could.

Pros: great environment , vegan items clearly marked on the menu and enough , delicious food

Cons: none!
