Beautiful Bookshop and Cafe - Edit

I stumbled across Book and Kitchen a couple of weeks ago, and what a find! This independent bookshop sells a huge range of lovely books, lots of classics and lots of books I had never heard of. They're all hand selected by the shop owner, Muna, who is lovely. When I went, I was trying to find a particular book for a friend and she was only too happy to help me, discussing their likes, dislikes etc and helping me choose the perfect book. They also sell a range of gifts and cards. Downstairs is the cafe which boasts a large range of coffees from around the world as well as lots of yummy cakes and homemade soups for all tastes. They also run musical, literary and culinary events through out the year. This is a chilled out place that is well worth the detour off the bustling Portabello Road to this haven of peace, literature and cake!

Pros: Excellent Food, Great Atmosphere, Great Books
