We were so thrilled to find this gem within walking distance of our hotel. Fortunately, we made a reservation because they were busy and the place is small. We ordered all of their vegan options to share. Everything was presented beautifully and the flavors were fantastic!

Bonnard, best vegan food in Paris! - Edit
Bonnard is for me the best vegan-vegetarian restaurant in Paris. The menu is delightfull. I went to Bonnard for my birthday i am in vacations, was a present from my lovely husband. I enjoyed the food, their presentation and quality of their ingredients are amazing. All the dishes that i tried were amazing.

Cher (et ils ne sont plus 100% vegan) - Edit
J'avoue avoir été déçue, 17€ pour un burger qui paraît copieux sur la photo mais c'est trompeur (les 4 minuscules pommes de terre n'ont pas suffi non plus) et je venais surtout pour goûter leur fameux bun feuilleté. En plus, ils ne prennent pas la carte ticket restaurant le week-end ce qui n'est pas légal. En revanche la chef brésilienne est très sympa et on voit qu'elle aime son métier. Le goût était bien là, ça se voit que tout est fait maison, simplement je ne peux pas mettre 5 étoiles car je trouve le prix trop élevé et ils devraient accepter la carte ticket restaurant peu importe le jour.

Bonnard is vegetarian high cuisine, in an informal vibe, and great experience. They used to be vegan upmarket but kinda casual, so it’s a bit of a paradigm shift. The menu is now normatively vegetarian with a vegan option for entree, main and dessert. One vegan option is not technically an option, for vegans. But the food is great, still worth coming for.

We only discovered this vegetarian restaurant because there was a muddle with our booking at a vegan place. However we were so glad we did. The menu is short - 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts - of which 2 are vegetarian and one is vegan. We are 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian so we sampled several dishes. All were completely delicious and beautifully presented. Apparently the menu changes weekly and is always seasonal. Highly recommended. Good value for the quality.

Sadly I need to modify my opinion of this place. We went back today for lunch and discovered they had a shorter menu on which nothing was vegan! Really disappointing. We had to go elsewhere.

I understand why people who went here when it was fully vegan are disappointed but don’t let that deter you if you’re looking for a wonderful meal in Paris. There are always 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts; the menu changes about once a month to ensure everything can be procured fresh and local. There are always a vegan option for starter and main, and sometimes there are two (according to the server I spoke with). The meal I had was phenomenal: a forbidden rice and veggies dish for main and an absolutely amazing creamy cauliflower soup for a starter. My veggie dining companion said there vegetarian dishes were also fantastic (I obviously didn’t try and can’t confirm). The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. It wasn’t too crowded and they take walk ins.

Je ne comprends pas ce revirement à 360 degrés mais de mon côté j'irai me consoler en allant dans les adresses 100% veganes et archi gourmandes que sont The Friendly Kitchen, Le Potager de Charlotte ou encore Breathe.

We had the wrap breton as appetizer, the Bonnard w/espelette and the Emperor's risotto as mains; and the lemon/yuzu tartelette and Le Magnifique (meringue-based) for desserts.
Everything we had was yummy; although the bun of the Bonnard burger could have been a bit softer for us. Portions are not large; but the prices are very fair given the interior, the service and the quality of the dishes you get.
The menu is not large; but includes many sides and appetizers that you can share if you go in a group.
Also, fyi, the food we received looked rather different than the pictures you see in the online menu.
All-in-all, it's a breath of fresh air in Paris' vegan scene, which lately has been flooded with junk food.

We have fallen in love with Bonnard during our most recent visit to Paris. The service and atmosphere are amazing. We had the polenta and mushroom appetizer, Bonnard burger, vegetable lasagna, and dessert sampler and all were delectable. We enjoyed our first dinner there so much that we made reservations to come back on the spot. We have had house made veggie burgers all over the world and we both agreed this is the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely be on our must have Paris dining list for future visits.

I expected more from the food at Bonnard. The place is nice, with good services, and the plates are beautiful, but everything I tried lacked some taste. Overall, eating at Bonnard is a good experience, but with more work on the tasting experience, this restaurant could be a top place to eat in Paris.

Bonnard offers a nice homemade menu depending on seasons. I went twice and tried most of their starters (those with truffle oil and mushrooms are the best), their burger (amazing) and lasagnas (quite good but not exceptional for the price). My favorite is their dessert Le Magnifique (excellent). They also have a good selection of organic wines. The place is fancy and pleasant and you will spent a nice experience but you'll pay the price. The staff was friendly each time I went.
