Too expensive for what you get! - Edit
I got a pineapple juice (which was very small) and the worst spring rolls ever. It smelled like fried mashed potateos. The location is nice but way too expensive. You get much more at the restaurant "Phuc Quang Chay"!
Pros: location
Cons: food, price

Delicious - Edit
We are here today. It was a quick stop but definitely worth it. The salt and pepper tofu was sooooo good. I wish we had time to try more of the extensive menu. There were loads of locals which is always a good sign.
My partner was in heaven with the passionfruit juice too. Highly recommended!
They also offer take away which we noticed on the way out.

You can eat better for much cheaper - Edit
This is a lovely place in terms of its setting, but the food is really average. Well, not even, since 'average' = amazing in Vietnam. This place is totally MEH. Over-priced and lacking the flavour that makes food in this country such a treat. Don't bother.
Pros: Lovely setting , Good staff, central location
Cons: bland food , expensive, MEH

Great ambiance - Edit
Located in an alleyway at 86 Nguyen Du (maybe 50-100 meters down from the Notre Dame Cathedral), a short walk into the alleyway will take you to the stairs to get up one level to this French styled villa. Formerly a house that turned into a restaurant is my guess.
The menu was extensive and written in English (with pictures, just in case you are donald trump and can't read). As with most Vietnamese vegetarian places they tend to make things too sweet. I ordered a couple of dishes and specifically asked them to go light on the sugar and it came out just right. Maybe this is a good technique?
I came during their (the staff's) dinner time so the staff were a bit unattentive, had to go find them to order more water and get the check. Seems that both times I came it was similar experience with the service. Also sat out in the balcony and they tend to forget that you're there.
Otherwise no complaint. Good food, good location, nice and peaceful in the middle of a chaotic city.

Surprisingly good :) - Edit
One of the most popular vegetarian in town I guess, because its location can't be better, hidden a small alleyway near the big church and post office... Vegans have to be careful when ordering anything called Thai green curry in all vegetarian restaurants in Saigon, including this one, because I smell and taste milk in this dish in a few places.
I love the artistic look of the place.
and my favorite dish there is Thai papaya salad :) very close to the fish one :)

Awesome - Edit
This is a great place. The indoor seating area does not look so inviting, but get a table at the terrace. Friendly staff. Long menu, but try the spring rolls. I would say that you MUST go there if you're in Saigon. It'sa little oasis, slightly hidden on the 2nd floor above a busy street.
Pros: excellent food, located away from street, long and easy-to-read menu
Cons: indoor seating are not that inviting, no alcohol beverages, A bit hard to find (located on 2nd floor)

Vegetarian Vietnamese dream - Edit
What a great surprise. Ho chi min had many cool places to eat, but this one is also vegetarian. The menu has many options, and lots of Vietnamese cousine dishes to choose from.

Fantastic vegetarian restaurant - Edit
First went last December and it was great. This year they have expanded the menu and are ever so accommodating. Service was great and food is top notch. Atmosphere is very nice with many floors, indoor and out.
Pros: excellent, fresh food, lovely staff, fairly large portions
Cons: too many choices!

Perfect - Edit
This restaurant is perfect. The food is the best vegetarian we had in Vietnam. Full of veggies and so flavorful. Reasonably priced for quantity (70-80k per entree) and the portions are big. The dining room is beautiful and casual at same time. Can't say enough. Even if you are a backpacker, treat yourself. You won't regret it!
Pros: Food and atmosphere
Cons: None

Absolutely perfect! - Edit
There was lots to choose from, including some less typical vegan options. Everything was so well prepared and presented, by a very friendly and helpful English speaking waiter (Khang). The food was all really delicious, and very much worth every bit of extra expense!! I especially liked the fresh mixed juice of Ambarella and Acerola, recommended by our waiter!

Our favorite restaurant in town! - Edit
This restaurant is seriously the best thing ever, we have been going here for lunch or dinner for over a year now and I can honestly say it is SO tasty.
Sure sometimes things aren't 100% the same, but we've been there so many times it was bound to happen.
Some of the favourites I can recommend is the PHO, you get a HUGE bowl of this tasty noodle soup filled with mushrooms, tofu and noodles; the Jackfruit cooked in coconut milk, it tastes like pulled pork-ish; the PHO ROLLS are SO GOOD!; the banana blossom salad is perfect, i bet there isn't a thing that can disappoint you on the menu!
Even though some things on the menu aren't fully vegan, hey can accommodate and make it vegan, like the veggie curry soup, just ask for it with no cows milk and you will get it just with coconut milk.
Anyways enough about food, the staff is great and super helpful, make sure you go there in the evening there is such a nice romantic vibe on the terrace overlooking the main street.
The prices are super affordable for a westerner, not as cheap as street food but the quality is amazing. 2$ to 4$ per dish.
All in all this is such a great place, I just had to say something!
Pros: delicious food, super affordable, great ambient
Cons: not the same ALL the time, but thats hard!

Lovely food in a lovely place - Edit
Super friendly staff who were helpful. I had the Vietnamese stew with a baguette and it was very good. My partner had a curry and that was also delicious. We didn't have to wait very long for our food and there were a few people in the restaurant which was good. It is well signed so we didn't get lost.
Pros: Friendly, Nice atmosphere, Nice food

Below expectations - Edit
Went here with high expectations after rave reviews from others but was disappointed. The appetizers we ordered (spring rolls version 1&2) were stale and tasteless with sauces without complexity (creamy peanut and chiliwater).
Main course stuffed tofu in coconut sauce had indescriptive stuffing and no taste of coconut in the sauce. Texture was nice though. Stuffed shiitake and veggies had similar problems.
Other restaurants in HCMC were more impressive. Other costumers seemed more impressed though so maybe we were unlucky.
Pros: Lots of options, nice atmosphere, indoors and ou
Cons: Taste and lacking thereof.

Lit. - Edit
Wassup peace y'all I gotta do this real quick. Me and my boy stopped by here when we were wandering around looking for a SIM card. Read some reviews saying it was mad fancy and expensive but we had no other options so we rolled through. You go through some little alley to get to the stairs that take you all the way up to this lil gem. First off our servers English was on point and he told us everything was vegan. We started off with some rice cracker tofu mushroom jawn he recommended and dude clearly wasn't playin around nahmean. The chef spazzed out off top with this one and we knew it was about to be a code 4 lituation. We got our main courses which was mushroom curry and an oyster mushroom dish and they took this whole sh*t to the next level yo. Every flavor and texture came together like the chef treked up mount sinai and received the knowledge for creating edible fire emojis on a stone tablet from the vegan Virgin Mary. Anyway, I'm feeling atleast 6 socialist stars out of 5 on this one. Peace.

If You have the chance, GO HERE - Edit
Wow. Just Wow. This food was absolutely amazing. $2.50 for a huge portion of food that filled me up and made my taste buds reach places they have never been to before??? I honestly cannot even fathom the amount of preparation and expertise that went into creating my dish. Every single bite was different and made me question my own sanity. I tried my friends dish as well, and found myself taking at least a quarter of what he was eating. They also provide you with free jasmine tea, as well as some fruit for desert which was also very high quality.
The location of the restaurant is tucked away upstairs in a busy district, but once you arrive you only get the feeling of comfort. The waiters/waitresses speak English very well, and we're quick to recommend their favorite plates. Overall this place is a 10/10. Now time to figure out how to put together the pieces of my life the were shattered from the absolute mind blowing experience I received from this restaurant.
Pros: Fully Vegan Restaurant Incredible food, Incredible service, Cheap
Cons: No Cons at all

A really enjoyable dinner - Edit
This is he first time visiting the restaurant. It was quite quiet on a week night but saw a couple of locals eating here. Since not sure what to order ask for recommendation. One waiter spoke clear English and recommended the jack fruits stew in clay pot. Got myself also a brown rice. Food is great and the atmosphere is nice. For a good restaurant in the city center the price is reasonable.
Pros: English menu, Can choose table indoor with AC , Outside is also nicely decorated balcony
Cons: The dish a little sweet but really tasty
