Everything at Bonboon is wonderful. You can opt for five or four courses (and choose which one you skip) and optionally have a wine or tea pairing. The dishes are usually fantastic (creative, tasty, beautifully presented) and the wines too. Service is excellent.

Vegan restaurant with one menu and you opt either for 3, 4 or 5 courses. They have accompanying wines and drinks. Tastes are very refined and the plates look like little works of art. We sat outside in the window that overlooked the IJ and it was just a magical Amsterdam evening. Everything came on time, staff (I think she is running it all alone!!) was lovely. I would just highly recommend, it was exactly the experience I was looking for and met all my expectations. They have a terrace outside but inside is nice too. This is Amsterdam more than all the big joints in the city centre!

Normaal ben ik niet zo van de lokale groenten uit angst voor van dat flauwe Hollandse eten, maar dat is hier helemaal niet aan de orde. Deze mensen kunnen echt goed koken! Super goede smaakcombinaties en uiteraard alles super vers! De bediening was daarnaast vriendelijk, oprecht en authentiek. Ook de setting was erg fijn; hier kan je ontspannen en sfeervol dineren. Zeker een aanrader!

Well, this was a really pleasant surprise. Since my wife and I switched to a plant-based diet, we have tasted lots of lovely foods over the years. But it does not happen often that everything clicked so perfectly as at Bonboon. The warm and welcoming atmosphere. The delicious amuse-bouches. The wonderful dishes. It made for a wonderful dining experience.

Really glad we made the treck out of the city to visit this gem. The only downside would be location as everything was fantastic. We has the 3 course menu and it was just really lovely, they even changed a few things for me for my nut allergy. This cozy restaurant in East is absolutely great. The taste of the dishes is great and only 35 euros for a 3 course menu. To me this is way too cheap for the quality of food you get served. The dishes are not average, but high quality plantbased. And if you have missed blue cheese..go for the cheese platter. The place is run by ladies btw :-)

This place is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. It is quite small and simple, but the food is amazing. They offer only three starters, mains and desserts to choose from, but I seriously had trouble deciding what to have since everything sounded so delicious (and it also was!!). All dishes were beautifully presented and offered new tasting experiences. The woman there was really friendly and helpful. I can truly recommend it!

Do not let the location or place itself fool you. The food here is incredible!! Utterly the best vegan food I have ever tasted, anywhere in the world. If there was a sixth, seventh or tenth star, I would give that to this place. The restaurant is a bit out of the way and the place itself is a little sparse, utterly disguising the gastronomic delights that the incredibly talented chef has up her sleeve. If you like vegan food, you will love this place!
