Cafe with vegan biscuits, cake and salads

Friendly personal, enough space to sit with multiple people, relaxed atmosphere. Salad with seitan, almond cookies and cake are on offer for vegans with soy milk coffee.

A delicious vegan option in Rome

It was so delicious. We had fried vegetables as starter, gnocchi and hamburger as main. And cheesecake as dolci. All those dishes were vegan. I love this restaurant and the warm hearted owners.

Pros: Cheese Cake, Gnocchi, Fried Vegetables

Cons: A little cold inside

Homemade tasty

I had lunch in this cozy restaurant and I tried the frittelle (very good), panelle, the supplì (which was the weakest point I'd say), the tortino of quinoa and the spinach and lentil hummus wrap. The food was overall good, you can feel that the ingredients are good, but at the same time I feel like they need a twist to make everything more flavourful. However, I loved the sauces that came with supplì and tortino. We didn't try the sweets but definitely I should so I have a more complete view of the place, and they looked so nice!
The best was the service, cooker and waitress were super kind to us.

Pros: Staff was super sweet, Healthy and homemade style, Good ingredients

Cons: A bit flavourless (lentil hummus and tortino)

Ottimo scoperta veg

Great service

Lots of great options - most stuff inside is vegan and although not labeled they were easily pointed out to us. The service was great - the guy that helped us was very talkative and friendly. Would give 5 stars if I could.

Pros: Lots of options, Friendly and personable service

Cons: Hard to find...name on outside is not same as HC, Vegan options not labeled

Slow food at its best

This place deserves a 5 star but Happy Cow doesn't allow it in veg-friendly places. At un punt macrobiotico everything is vegan with the exception of a couple of fish dishes. One of the branches of the outstanding chain of Italian macrobiotic restaurants UPM. The food here is very good and closely matches the main macrobiotic principles + wine and coffee (you are in Italy after all). I really enjoyed all the lunches I had in multiple UPM restaurants during my stay in Rome (I even bought the membership to pay the lower rate). My Macro plate was always fresh, well seasoned and tasty. Since they follow the principles of the slow food movement you are able to relax and enjoy your meal without any rush. The vegan gelato at the end of my meal was also very tasty.
