The food itself was quite fine but by far nothing outstanding. The service was quite slow and not the friendliest (but also not rude or unfriendly in any way).

Die Auswahl an veganen Gerichten ist im Vergleich zum Rest gering, aber trotzdem lecker. Der Spinat Bulgur ist klasse und auch die Portionen sind ausreichend.

The restaurant operates on a self-ordering system where customers place their orders at the counter and collect them later. Personally, I didn't find this appealing. The ambiance was quite noisy, and the food seemed overly oily, with the vegan options being rather lackluster.

Das Essen schmeckt. Nur leider sind viele Nebenaspekte die den Laden runterziehen. Zum einen wenn man die Linsensuppe bestellt, die als Vegan gekennzeichnet ist, bekommt man Brot dazu. Das Brot ist nicht vegan. Die Kommunikation mit manchen Angestellten ist auf deutsch kaum oder nur sehr schwer möglich. Kartenzahlung und bar möglich.

Boname is a very hip Turkish fusion-food restaurant. They have a special concept where they have a number of dishes you have to get yourself from the food preparation counters.

Pros: Some vegan options, "Cool" place to hand out if you like that
Cons: not a vegan or vegetarian place, parking can be an issue in the area

Read moreDie Kommunikation an den verschiedenen Stationen war mitunter schwierig, da kann man nur hoffen, dass auch wirklich ein veganes Gericht ankommt. Leider musste ich mir dann noch Kommentare über mein veganes Essen anhören.
Das Essen an sich war ganz gut und das Interior sehr schön .
Ich weiß nicht, ob ich wieder hingehen würde.

Few but fine vegan options - Edit
There are only 2 starters and 3 main dishes on the menu which are vegan labeled. That's not bad but could be more. Especially since they are pretty ordinary. But they taste just fine.

The food tastes great and the price is fine. The vegan dishes are clearly labelled, also some of the vegetarian ones can be made vegan by request. You order at the counter and get a device, then take a seat and wait until your device beeps, which means your food is ready. The inside is really nice and comfy.

An appetizer that was labeled as "vegan" was actually vegetarian. They exchanged it, but be aware to mention that you want it vegan independently of what the menu says.
Read moreGenerally, I was surprised how few dishes were offered in a vegan version. For example, there are various dishes with falafel, but none of them are available as vegan. The food tasted fine.

Nice dinner, cool and clean place with nice terras and friendly staff. Order at the counters, get the “beeper” and pick it up when it goes. Vapiano (if you know this chain?) style. Great humus. Several vega but not so many vegan options.

Kleine Bemerkung von mir. Die Linsensuppe ist im Boname zwar Vegan. Jedoch das Brot welches es zur Suppe dazu gibt nicht. Ich hatte da extra nachgefragt. Also aufpassen.

Tasteless dishes + insects issue - Edit
That was absolutely THE WORST culinary experience we’ve had within last few years while dining out. We ordered dishes called “ÇIFTLIK SAÇ” and “KÖRILI SEBZE” in a vegan variant (7.90 EUR each). Both turned out to be fried chopped veggies (mostly bell pepper and onion) with a small tiny pinch of herbs and spices. The food was so blank and flavourless that it tasted like the cheapest frozen vegetable mix you can purchase in a discount supermarket, prepared with almost no salt, or like a boring fried baby food, nothing you would like to eat as a main dish. It was just AWFUL! Served on a tortilla kinda flatbread, and with a small splash of hummus on side. It is beyond my understanding how anyone could think this would be something to put in a restaurant’s menu. And on top of that, to make things even worse - there were dead INSECTS in their olive oil bottles (see my picture), which I not only think is revolting but also unacceptable! Even the nice interiors and friendly staff doesn’t save that place from only one star rating.

Quite nice restaurant, just the interior is worth a visit. Satisfied with the dishes, although I’m giving 3 stars only as there are not many vegan options.
