Bon Besso's handcrafted 'redondets' are an aromatic and creamy alternative to industrial vegan cheeses, which mostly are made of coconut oil, with added modified starches and maltodextrins. Bon Besso on the contrary is a fermented cheese made on the basis of almonds, water and salt. The ingredients are local and organic, and also the packaging is designed to have the least environmental impact possible. I tried both 'Tap de Cortí' with sweet paprika and 'Mediterrani' with rosemary, savoury, basil, thyme and marjoram and look forward to keep discovering more of their assortment, which you will not only find at their own space, but also at various sales points throughout the island, that are listed on their website. Also several restaurants include Bon Besso on their cheeseboards, which speaks for the great quality. The owner is very welcoming and kind.
