Would give this five stars if I could, but that is reserved for vegan only restaurants. That being said, this was amazing. I’ve been to Cambridge three times in the last few months for business and wish I had known about this place sooner. I ordered the vegan samosas and a roasted eggplant dish. Everything was clearly marked vegan, service was very friendly and prompt, and my cocktail was delightful.

I had a difficult time finding vegan options in Cambridge so I was thrilled to find Bombay Special. Vegan options are labeled on the menu. They were out of samosas and the bartender explained that they make them fresh daily, saying his father refuses to use frozen ones as a back up. This is a family business that takes pride in their food which makes me love it even more. I had lentil soup and onion fritters. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend this as an option in Cambridge.
