Most vegetarian dishes can bei made vegan (except for the Options with cottage Cheese).
Also really nice people/staff!
Pros: Yummy vegan food, Nice Staff, Good price (~ 21 Dollar per Dish)

As mentioned, there are no vegan/vegetarian restaurants open in Cairns at night. It is good to see that Bombay kitchen has a completely separate vegan menu rather than a “can be made vegan” note. We were hungry having had no lunch while on a tour all day, so we ordered an entree each, a curry each and some bread. The samosa and onion bhaji we had were delicious. I liked the sauces that came with it and they came out quickly.
Read moreI ordered a spinach curry with vegetables, medium spice and it was a big serve. Tasty and spicy. My partner had the aloo baingan which he enjoyed but he preferred the entrées.

There's a separate vegan menu, which contains items I've never seen vegan versions of - such as cauliflower stuffed paratha bread (which was delicious!). There were also some interesting main courses, such as pumpkin masala, plus a good range of starters and rice. Friendly service too! Ask for the vegan menu specifically as it contains items not listed on the main one.

They were very particular about the vegan items (I was with a vegetarian and meat eaters). They seemed to be avoiding cross contamination in the kitchen which is always appreciated
Felt like it could be more hygienic - owner/chef was also serving at the end - their clothes had a lot of food on them. But saying that, the cutlery/plates/glasses weren't unclean.
