Solid vegan options. I’ve had the chana masala and aloo gobi. It’s had awesome flavor and very tasty. I left feeling warm, full, and happy. Had the best appetizers I’ve had in town

We make it a priority to visit indian food while traveling and had high hopes for this dinner - but sadly it was just ok.
Read moreFirst the good - their samosas are dynamite and what really saved the meal. Chana masala and aloo gobi were both ok, but neither fantastic. Sadly the pakoras - so oily and over seasoned we actually didn't eat them all.
Service was really good and if we lived here we'd certainly go back as it was decent, just not great - maybe an off night.
Pros: Samosas are dynamite!, Great service, Big portions if that's your thing
Cons: Pakoras - can't recommend them, Quality just wasn't there

Best food I’ve found in Anchorage. - Edit
There other nice places, but this is the best available that is clean and healthy. The Aloo Gobi, Naratan Veg Curry and Baingan Bharta are the main Vegan options and all delicious.

I agree with a previous reviewer that that food is “average”, I’d even say mediocre. I appreciate that vegan options are labeled on the menu, and that there were vegan bread options offered that were not on the menu. 4 stars for those reasons. The food was all salty, even for me, who usually has to add salt to meals.

We were skeptical about this place, but it turned out pretty good. Do ask for the vegan menu because it shows a lot more options than indicated on the regular menu. I'd recommend the aloo paratha and the vegetable koftas. Prices were on the high side, as is the norm in Alaska, but not unreasonably so.

You have to ask for the vegan menu, but it has lots of options, especially for Anchorage. I ordered the samosas and the aloo gobi. Both were very very good. The samosas come with tamarind sauce and mint chutney. They were nice and big, and well seasoned. The aloo gobi was really delicious too. Maybe the best I've had.
