Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant with separate vegan menu available upon request. Example dishes include aloo gobi, chana masala, tarka dal and more. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
Trying to find affordable vegan protein options in Anchorage is (surprisingly) harder than explaining what the word vegan means to most of the population here. This place came in clutch when others recommended by this app were closed or their "vegan options" was a salad or basic vegetables that cost as much as a regular dish. The menu here is labelled and even has its own vegan section. This place has lentil and chickpea dishes for protein sources and gives a generous amount at a comparatively affordable price. Only downside is it's not in a seemingly nice part of town.
