Family run restaurant with vegan/veg options - Edit
Bolsi had a page of vegan/veg options and other options throughout the menu that are accidentally vegan (eg some of their vege sushi)
Read moreWe went there twice during our visit to Asuncion for lunch. It has outside and inside seating. Food was tasty! If you are in that part of town and need somewhere to eat, Bolsi is worth it!

Optional English menu with clearly marked vegan section - Edit

Read moreI wouldn't normally go to a restaurant that serves meat, if I don't speak the local language, because I worry I would be served meat due to a miscommunication. However, this place has an English menu you can look at, with a separate vegan section. I got chop suey and 2 empanadas. The chop suey was delicious, and the empanadas were pretty standard.
Note that the waiters here all wear suits. We felt slightly underdressed in our shorts and t-shirts. However, I don't think we looked too out of place. You have to walk through a cafe/bakery to get to the restaurant. It wasn't clear whether the cafe serves all the same food. It looked like everyone had some kind of sandwhich.

Great service but bad food - Edit
The restaurant is very nice & the service was great. They offer free bread, which was amazing!
Read moreI ordered the vegan chickpea burger with fries. The fries were good, but the burger was terrible. Extremely mushy and had a bad aftertaste… would come again to try their Paraguayan dishes though! Price for the burger was 50k, which I found ok for the portion.

Delicious vegan pizza - Edit
I was very happy to come across this beautiful restaurant in the heart of the city. I tried the vegan pizza (including vegan cheese!) and it was really tasty. They also had a number of other vegan options and the wait staff understood the requirements (which is always very encouraging).

Amazing burger - Edit
Typical place, staff could be more welcoming, one waitress was really nice but that’s it. I had the vegan burger which was really delicious, and a salad take away which was huge but just ok.

Vegan/veggie menu - Edit
While not an entirely vegan restaurant, they did offer a vegan/vegetarian menu with some great options! We tried the vegan burger and the wrap. Both of the vegan options we had were super yummy. I enjoyed the fact that they had a vegan menu and that it was clearly listed. Inside the restaurant was beautiful and the staff were great. The juices were also very delicious!

Mwah... - Edit
Couple vegan options.
Read moreChopsuey consists of only vegetables and is drenched in soy sauce.
Empanadas were a little tasteless. They seemed to have been frozen and reheated. The inside was still cold when served.

Good price, really tasty wrap - Edit
Close to the city center, it has non-vegan options so you can bring the more picky eaters along. I think I had just the wrap with hummus the few times I went there.

Saved my life in Asunción - Edit
While in the city, I ate here almost every day. Unfortunately there were not many options of restaurants in Asunción for vegans, so it saved my life! They have delicious dishes that are affordable, and in a separate vegan menu. It's also very central in a safe area.

Disappointing - Edit
Since they have a vegan section I was looking forward to the food.
Read moreThe hummus plate didn't have a lot of veggies.
The chopsuey was OK but came without any rice or quinoa.
The burrito was more like a limp wrap and also had no rice.

Good food - Edit
They have a vegan menu with about 5-6 options as well as some empanadas. The veggie burger comes with a salad and it’s pretty good (I had the lentil patty).

Food is nice - Edit
We had a lunch in here. The food is nice, my burger from chickpeas was very nice and fulfilling but my husband's chopsuey was a bit light with no noodles just the vegetables (mostly green bell pepper) the service is nice and the restaurant is clean.. They have an app to use as a menu and provide with a small paperbag for your mask.

Half of the menu doesn't exist - Edit
I went twice to this place. The first time I had a Chop Suey because the Tofu roll was not available. The second time I had a hummus plate, because the Hamburger was not available. I felt a bit teased by that fact. Furthermore the hummus plate was horrible, I could not finish it and left the restaurant hungry. The broccoli and coliflour were way too overcooked and cold, the hummus had no taste and there was too much oil in it. The Chop Suey was okay, a bit too salty for my taste.

Great food, out of some items - Edit
I really enjoyed what I had when I went, but I will say that some of my choices were sold out and required revisiting the menu a few times.

Good food but limited options - Edit
Visited Oct 31, 2018. A very busy and local favorite place. Has an English menu with a Vegan section but has only three items - a hummus roll, a hummus platter and tofu empanada. Ordered Hummus roll which was good. Good environment but hard to find sitting because it's very popular with locals.,
