Summer 2013 reported no longer operating a full-service restaurant. This is an alternative bookstore info shop that serves all-vegan drinks (coffee, teas) and occasional meals. Lots of books on vegan cooking, animal rights, and environmentalism. REPORTED SHUT END OF 2014. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-7:00pm.

No longer there, but it was amazing - Edit
Bolo'bolo is no longer open, but it was an amazing radical infoshop and vegan café that I frequented almost every week. They ran numerous outreach programs from the space too, such as Food Not Bombs, and were involved with the annual Cape Town anarchist bookfair.
Pros: 100% vegan, Radical literature, Good ethics
Cons: It's closed now :-(

Great vegan cafe - Edit
Delicious cupcakes! We each had a chocolate and cocnut cupcake covered in rose icing, very interesting and tasty. Didn't have full meal as we were just in Muizenburg for the afternoon, but had a very pleasant experience with our cupcakes, ice tea and hot chocolate. Some really great books on veganism as well as other topics, and we bought some vegan badges from the counter - animal liberation is human liberation / I ❤tofu! Lovely place.

THis place is great. All the food is vegan and very reasonably priced. Their smoothies are out of this world (strongly recommned turkish delight smoothie: banana, peanut butter, soya milk, dates and carob).
We stayed for 5 days in Muizenberg and pretty much ate here every single day! ;o)
Pros: reasonable price, delicious food , community feel
