Cheap and cheery

The cinnamon roll was yummy and unexpectedly very cheap! Wish I tried the chocolate one too

Nice place!

Walked from the airport on our layover and everyone was very pleased… the cinnamon rolls looked amazing, but it was early in the morning and I have such an aversion to sugar that I opted for a delicious seeded bread instead. Staff knew what was vegan and were super helpful.

Vegan cinnamon rolls

They only had vegan cinnamon rolls. Chocolate and caramel. I had the caramel and it was amazing. It was worth the visit just for that. They have coffee but no plant based milk.

Yum

Giant iced rolls with chocolate or caramel sauce with a hint of cinnamon flavour. They also have some vegan buns and bread. Also had a croissant which was also huge and delicious! Also quite cheap. Be aware to not transport them upside down though as we did - the sauce was all in the bag

Pros: Just huge, Cheap

Cons: Don't transport upside down!

Cinnamon buns

Came here for breakfast, and the vegan things aren’t labeled but the guy working there had a list and pointed everything out. We had the option of the giant cinnamon rolls and some rolls with jam. Each was good - the cinnamon roll was MASSIVE and sweet - though it was more of a bready cinnamon roll rather than oie gooie cinnamon rolls.

Freshly baked breads and GIANT cinnamon buns

Delicious and freshly baked breads and three types of cinnamon buns(strawberry, chocolate, and caramel). They had three types of breads the day we went and they will slice it for you when you buy a loaf. Excellent service.

great pastries, great prices!

My husband and I were able to split an iced sweet roll for 330ISK- a great bargain for a roll nearly the size of my head! It came in three frosting varieties: chocolate covered, caramel, and strawberry. Not much room to sit and hang out (and no WiFi), but this is a great place to pick up sweet pastries and breads to bring back to your room for breakfast. None of the vegan choices are marked and you have to specifically ask for them.

Vegan Cinnamon Buns!

In search of breakfast, I was happy to see Bkornsbakari offering something for vegans. An under 30 minute walk from the tourist area, it is more "local" and definitely a neighborhood favorite. The iced cinnamon buns are huge- at least 6-7" across and quite tasty. Although I do not usually eat them in my non-traveling life, it was a nice splurge but admittedly got just a bit too sugary for me toward the gooey middle. Which I know is a good thing for many! Also have lovely breads- most of which are also vegan. I picked up a load to have toast for breakfast at my hostel for the rest of my stay in town. Recommended!
