Busy, Dog Friendly, Treasure

Edited August 2023: They lose a star!

I love Boho Cafe. The interior is bright and clean, but has a hippy thrift store vibe. Heaps of room, friendly staff, over all a great atmosphere. There are a small number of outdoor tables facing the street.

Food is a mixture of cabinet items and cooked to order brunches and burgers. If you're vegetarian, you have plenty of on menu options. If you're gluten free, keto, or have any other dietary restrictions, you can eat right off the menu. If you're vegan, you're out of luck. They used to have a vegan menu, it's now gone. There used to be vegan options you could ask for, they're now gone. Instead, you need to ask what can be made vegan from the menu: and it's very little. The chef's will accommodate you and it will taste good, but the well thought out vegan options with amazing flavours are now gone. The welcoming feeling of having a vegan menu and concrete vegan options is now gone. Last time I came here I felt like a nuisance rather than a valued customer.

Service is fast, the coffee is great, and there are a couple of plant based milk options to choose from. If you just want coffee and the place is busy, often there's an additional machine outside to do takeaway coffee.

Also, this place is amazingly dog friendly. Quiet dogs are welcome inside the cafe, and may even be offered a special treat of their own. My dog loves going there, and I love having somewhere I can take him.

no vegan options currently on menu

There were no vegan options on the menu or in the cabinet. When I asked about it, they said they are making a new menu with vegan options. The chef was able to prepare me a veg stack easily, which was delicious.

Pros: atmosphere, service, ability to prepare something off menu for me

Cons: no vegan options on a full menu or in the cabinet
