Tofu Sammie!

Loved the option for tofu. If you're a newbie, do a dry run before you order your sammie. Lots of options for add-ons.

Pros: Vegan options, Price

Cons: Ordering sandwich was a bit confusing for a newbie

Always brings back great memories

It was my favorite place for bagels as a teenager. It was great to visit again, get their vegan sandwich in an everything bagels, and get bagels to go.

Pros: Best bagels ever!

Delicious cville classic

Love bodos!! A Charlottesville/UVA favorite if you’re in from out of town, great prices, I always get the no bull patty (local made veggie burger) with tomato and sprouts :)

The place for bagels

Have plenty of vegan options for toppings (hummus, tofu, vegan butter), wish they had vegan cream cheese. Inexpensive, can’t beat the quality of the bagel.

Pros: Quick, Great bagel

Great bagels, lots of options

So after trying all three Bodo’s in C-ville and being unable to park, we finally managed to eat at this one. It was my first time (I’m from the UK) and I was v impressed with the number of options available for vegans. I had an everything bagel with tofu, avocado, hummus and cucumber. It was really great - definitely recommend this place if you don’t mind waiting in line at the weekends!

Pros: Lots of options , Fast service (once you’re through the long queue), Tasty food

Cons: Not a lot of parking options , Long, long queues

Quick, cheap, delicious

I waited in a semi long line but it moved very quickly and I got my order way before most of the people in front of me because there was nothing to cook on my order. The bagel and the fillings were so good, and I was expecting it be be mediocre at best! I got the tofu sandwich on a plain bagel with hummus, tomato, and sprouts. I would highly recommend this sandwich! I will say it is crazy busy and not a good place to sit and read so take your sandwich to go. I wish they had vegan cream cheese because the bagels are so good!

Pros: Quick, Cheap, Delicious

Cons: Not a great place to sit and read or study, Needs more coffee options, Needs vegan cream cheese

Good fast bfast with buds

So this is a good casual place to grab some grub.
All of their bagels except the wheat bagel are vegan (the wheat bagel has honey). Last time I was there I saw a new option of NoBull (local veggie burgers) being offered, but I don't think it was the vegan kind (NoBull does have a vegan kind that they sell every Saturday at the Farmer's market and it's really good).
It's pretty reasonable if you stick to something like just peanut butter.
But add on the avocado, sprouts, etc, and it adds up. But delicious and fast. If you're a UVA student, don't forget to get the first ticket before you graduate! :)

Pros: tofu, veggie burgers?, hummus

Cons: delicious toppings add up: expensive

Yummy, cheap bagels

Great bagels and very vegan friendly. I got the tofu sandwich on a whole wheat bagel with sprouts, avocado, kalamata olive spread, and hummus. (Whole wheat may have had honey in it, though... oops.) Cheap and delicious! Great for breakfast or lunch.

They also have Smart Balance to put on bagels instead of butter, which is a really nice touch! I loved my cinnamon raisin bagel with Smart Balance. Yum!

Friendly staff. Fast service.

Pros: vegan friendly, great bagels, lots of options

Good place for a light breakfast/lunch or snack

The staff knows which items are vegan and which are not and are friendly and eager to help. Having said that, almost all of the bagels are vegan, and you can get great toppings like fresh veggies, hummus, tofu, pb&j, and what's listed as avocado (really guacamole). I've had vegan soups there as well. Great place to go when you're on the road and need a light breakfast/lunch or a snack.
