Probably the holy grail of vegan Bavarian food. Everything we had was perfectly executed and tasted delicious. It's been a long time I enjoyed a restaurant as much as Bodhi.
Read moreWe had the Buffalo Wings to start with, then the Bodhi Pfanderl and the Enten Braten. We finished with the Mousse au Chocolat. The latter was just divine.
The portions are a good size, service is swift and friendly. There's really no reason not to go here frequently. It's probably a good idea to book in advance. The joint was packed when we arrived and without a booking we would have had to wait.

Really loved this place! It a great experience to finally have authentic German cuisine in a fully vegan version. Usually, at restaurants serving traditional German food, I can only get salad or a few side dishes, so this was a real treat.
Read moreThe food was delicious and felt very authentic. The Zwiebelrostbraten with dark beer sauce was especially good, and the Germknödel for dessert was fantastic as well. The staff was friendly, and you can sit both indoors and outside.
The only downside was that we could only get a table at 8:15 pm, by which time the Käsespätzle and Kaiserschmarrn were already sold out. Still, I would definitely come back to try them next time!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious vegan German cuisine.

Good food and friendly staff. I was crabing some protein, amd chose the tempeh burger. It tasted fine - and this comes frome someone who doesn't really like tempeh (due to the bitter aftertaste). I had the Bavarian Cream for dessert, which was HEAVENLY! A bit expensive, though, bit that seems to be the way in Munich.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff was lovely, and we left VERY full and VERY happy 😂❤️
Definitely a place I would happily come back to next time we’re in Munich! Highly recommended for vegans… and honestly for everyone else

Mein Mann und ich waren bereits in der Filiale in Nürnberg und sehr begeistert, also war für uns klar, dass wir bei unserem Städtetrip auch mal das Bodhi in München ausprobieren.
Read moreDie Servicekräfte waren sehr nett und bemüht, aber sichtlich überfordert. Wir waren insgesamt 1:25 Stunden war und mussten alleine auf unser Getränk sicher eine Viertelstunde warten. Ich hatte den Wunsch, eine Beilage zu tauschen (sogar auch gerne nur gegen einen kleinen Beilagensalat, was sogar günstiger gewesen wäre), das war nicht möglich. Habe ich so ehrlich gesagt noch in keinem Restaurant erlebt, gerade nicht in so einem hochpreisigem. Meine Hauptspeise (Röstzwiebelbraten) kam lauwarm an, Ich musste dann noch mal länger warten, während mein Mann schon aß. Die Portion danach war dafür glühend heiß.
Insgesamt keine schöne Erfahrung, in diese Filiale komme ich sicher nicht mehr.

We had the best experience here, love the aesthetic of the restaurant but more importantly, the food is to die for. We ordered the Bodhi-pfanderl and the Roast beef with a side of spaetzle and both were so perfect and delicious. The outdoor seating was great in the heatwave and the staff were all great.

Love this restaurant with all of my heart - Edit
I brought a visiting friend and she wanted sth traditionally Bavarian, and this restaurant did not disappoint. Not only was there quite some cute vegan decoration, the food is so well executed. I had the tofu skin schnitzel and was surprised by the effort put into the recipe and texture. My friend had the steak thing and I must say that taste incredible, almost made me jealous. The service was great, too.

I can just agree with all the previous recommendation. Everything is vegan, service is fast and food very good. We had the Schnitzel and the potato Salad did not disappoint. Käsespätzle were also good, though a bit unseasoned. Next time i’ll try the Kartoffelklöße😄

There was only one clearly marked gluten free option which was Gyros, but it was absolutely delicious and I scraped my plate! My friend enjoyed her Schnitzel and the atmosphere was super cozy with cool decor!

I ended up having the Pfanderi and the tipsy tiki cocktail. These were the best dishes I had in my time in Munich.
