Jain-vegan options

We had some amazing vegan soba noodles and sushi that also happened to be without onions and garlic.

Not for Indian Palate

I went late but managed to get a meal. Taste wise it was a complete dud. I took a thali and It was super hard to finish the plate because one dish felt like it was already gone. Another one's taste was odd and, apart from the salad nothing else was left. Maybe better suited to foreigners tastebuds than Indian. They filled my water bottle, so giving an extra star solely for that!.

Pros: Good ambience , Choice of menu

Cons: Tastes terrible

Best plant-based food I've ever had

The food is only a part of the whole experience at Bodhi.

Chef Varun has done an incredible job at creating a cosy vibe but the food is the biggest highlight.

I had the Green goddess smoothie and the in Pad Thai noodles. Awesome!

The Avocado Chocolate Mousse in is to die for...

Best Food In Goa

I had the most delicious salad of my life at their cute rooftop location. their products taste just perfect! The Granola is a great topping for their broad smoothie menu.

Great coffee and cakes. Yum pizzas and sushi rolls.

High Speed Internet was a big reason I am a regular here.
Must try!

Pros: Wifi , great Pizza, healthy

Cons: Difficult to find so call ahead

Sometimes beans and cruciferous green vegetables can cause instestinal fiberosis if your gut isn't used to eating such high fiber foods!

We wash our green and vegetables in 4 filtered water baths and always are on top of kitchen hygiene.

While we try to make sure everything is safe and perfect for our guests, sometimes an accident may have occurred, and we really seriously apologise if that was the case. We have an open kitchen and you're welcome to have a look at any time of the workday, we love showing guests how we cook food, especially non-vegans get blown away after seeing such a wide variety of healthy ingredients!

The best in Arambol

After spending a few seasons in Arambol as a vegan I have found that this restaurant is my favourite.

The staff are very helpful and attentive, the food is delicious and the location is perfect, right in the middle of town.

I ate here loads on my last trip and really enjoyed the general vibe of the place. I can personally recommend the more traditional Indian food on the menu. We went in large groups several times and had a banquet of some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten.

A must visit.

X🙏

Pros: Choice, Everything is washed in bottled water, Staff

Cons: Cost compared to other local places , When it's windy it's really windy in there , You want to try everything

Vegan cakes

Only came here to try the cakes. They have many different options, many of the cakes are with chocolate flavor, they claim them to be sugar free (sweetened with dates). Out of all the chocolate cakes the baked one was the best, out of the raw ones go for the avocado one, the other ones have a consistency one has to get used to. Anyways amazing that they have so many options. They also have green smoothies !!!:-)

You can ask to try little pieces of the cakes, staff is so friendly they gave us two little slices to try for free

Not actually organic

Had a Buddha bowl which was very tasty. A lot of different interesting food on the menu aswell.
However, they claim to be an organic restaurant which after a short conversation with the manager they turned out to not be. He said that a small part of their sourced vegetables were organic and that they have a hard time to trust the sources they are buying from.
So the description here on happy cow is misleading and should be changed.
As a person very sensitive to sprayed foods it doesn’t matter if a restaurant is trying their best to source organic ingredients. If you claim to be an organic restaurant you should not sell sprayed produce. Sure it’s more expensive and harder to source. but price your stuff accordingly.

Hi aGyller. Thanks for your review.

We try to be honest with our guests and are very strong on our idea of organic, all vegan foods. We source our greens from Samatha organic farm, handpicked almost every morning, and our grains from Auroville and Dharamshala, mostly organic. Only some vegetables that are sourced locally are not organic and we simply cannot help it because of the limited choice of organic produce in the market.

I hope this clarifies. Thanks again for the review :)

Filling, tasty and nutritious

We've been a few times since staying in Arambol and it's been incredible every time. Their tempeh Buddha bowl is the nicest I've had! Relaxed vibes with cushions to sit on the floor. Very friendly service. All vegan.

Best vegan rastaurant in India!

Wowzers this place is incredible! I live in Arambol for most of the season and have now tried most if the items on the menu. Everything is consistently excellent. Portion sizes are large, prices are small and the atmosphere is like home for all the lovely vegan folk of the town (and the people who come visit). If you go then please try the coconut curry it's ridiculously good 💗💗💗 And everything from the vegan cake bakery is delicious!
They also usually have live music on Thursday and Friday nights.

Pros: Loads of vegan cakes! Excellent coffee 💗

Hidden gem

Hidden in a small side road off of the main area, but still very close. This restaurant has great food. The menu takes some time to review because they have many options and no pictures on the menu. Prices are very reasonable and service is good. Worth a try and wished I ate here more on our trip because there aren't many vegan options in Arambol.

Pros: 100% vegan, 100% taste

Cons: Menu takes time to look through and no pictures
