Beat vegan food in Portugal - Edit
The restaurant is very nicely hidden in a typical Portugal street and the outside and inside looks very cool. We came in and the staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. We had both the burger options and my no-chicken burger is the best ive ever had! The desserts were also amazing!

Do not recommend: beet ravioli. It is basically just the beet carpaccio with cashew cheese. There is no dough or dumpling component to the dish. Simply not my personal favorite.
Even our most meat-loving friends were pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything is beautifully plated and the flavors are deliciously paired.

my favorite were the gyozas and nachos. Bao buns were okish (bread buns were a bit denser than i would like) and mac and cheese was also nice but portion was too big for my daughter but i was happy to share it with her😄

Best vegan location in Armação de pera - Edit
Since the beginning of the year, the restaurant has completely switched to vegan. The choice of food and dessert is very large. To my delight there is also local craftbeer. The owner is very nice and takes time for all guests.

O meu prato, um ramén de tempeh, foi parar a outra mesa e passado não sei quanto tempo trazem-no direto da mesa errada para mim.
Reclamei e depois disso, quando me trouxeram um suposto novo ramén, já não me soube a nada.
Comi de entrada um carpaccio de beterrada que gostei.
Achei o custo benefício muito elevado e não voltarei.

Espaço encantador, seguindo uma linguagem eco-friendly. Canudo de bambu, e no toilette, autoclismo com água do lavatório. Comida saborosa e realmente saudável. Adorei o sumo natural com gengibre e pêra. Delicioso. O atendimento foi ótimo por parte de todos os funcionários, muito simpáticos. O espaço oferece opções majoritariamente vegetarianas, com alguma alternativa vegana, mas não é um espaço vegetariano. Há opções de carnes (o que é contraditório pois vai contra o conceito sustentável ecológico que tentam erguer). O preço não é muito acessível se comparado com outras opções de restaurantes que oferecem comida vegetariana. Pedi um lanche vegano e fui avisada de que não havia mais o pão e seria servido o hamburguer no prato com a salada. Entretanto não obtive qualquer desconto na conta; paguei o valor total do prato.

We spent two nights in Armaçao de Pera and went here twice for dinner. It was great. The owner is so lovely and attentive. He explained to us that different local artists decorate the restaurant on a rotating basis which is why the place always looks special.

Great little restaurant with character. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Limited vegan options but accommodate and change to suite needs. Great quality of food with good balance of world and local food/drink.

Lovely Food and Hosts - Edit
We had a lovely meal consisting of starters, main and desert. The host was very informative & explained the menu and all the available changes (from veggie to vegan). The chef and host catered for us very well, changing dishes to suit us and even giving us a free taster of their vegan sausage. The chef came out to ask how we were enjoying our food. The female host was lovely, giving us places to visit and saving them into my Google maps for us. The atmosphere was lovely with a friendly guy playing the decks. Decor was funky too!

Lifesaver while staying in this resort - Edit
This place is fabulous. We stayed in this resort for 3 days and we ate here 3 times, every time the food was great. I’m vegan and eat a mostly whole food diet, so sometimes struggle to find good places to eat. They try and incorporate super foods into the menu here and are happy to make great fresh juices & smoothies. I was really impressed with the food, the interior is really nice & the people who work there were great too, the owner was really friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend. I would give it 5 stars but the max I can give on here is 4 as it's not fully vegan.

The waitress was lovely, cheerful, very helpfull, transparent and informative. We tried a juice with natural probiotic= passion fruit, orange and kambucha. Mini burgers and chips for starter and soya mashroom bolognese to finish. Also, we tried local water from mountain 20km away, very healthy ^^ Alkilizing water, apprently best in Europe. Good stuff! :)

This is a seriously special place. It's a gem in Armacao. They have a focus on healthy eating and superfoods. A good percentage of their menu is vegetarian, they have options labelled vegan and will try to adapt non vegan veggie meals. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating, they genuinely want their customers to enjoy the food they lovingly prepare. It's a fresh and smart restaurant inside, it's central but nicely tucked away in a side street so you can happily avoid the crowds and devour their delicacies in a tranquil setting. Im very impressed and wish them lots of success.

A surprisingly classy and genuinely lovely place with an inspired awareness of veganism. There is always a thoughtfully prepared vegan main course of the day but they can easily and willingly adapt. We had the pumpkin risotto and an adapted traditional Portuguese fish and egg dish which was made with leek and almond flakes. It really was excellent. To start we had a selection of home made hummus dips made from beetroot, aubergine, chickpeas and mushroom with rye bread and rosemary crackers. To finish we got tempted with a gorgeous creamy and fruity vegan panna cotta. It's particularly nice inside, very homely and welcoming. A healthy selection of locally sourced organic wines is always a good sign too. There is a quaint outside seating area but it's not private and there's a fair chance people could walk past you on the pavement more so during the day. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for daily menu updates and news of events or special themed evenings. If you happen to be staying in or close to Armacao de Pera I would definitely recommend. We were truly impressed.
