Forgettable Indonesian food - Edit
Vegan Indonesian food is my absolute favorite. This place was adequate at best. The tempeh was not adequately steamed, seasoned or prepared. The curry sauce was bland. I’d say if there were no other vegan options in town, go for it. Otherwise, I’d keep looking.

Amazing staff, owner (Marina), food, everything is so good here. Try it, you will love it! We had the vegan Rendang made with jackfruit and 17 spices, marinated and sooooo good.

The options they had were amazing and delicious, the fried bananas are a must when you go there. The menu is easy to follow for vegan options. Make sure to call for reservations as seating is very limited. They did recommend if seating isn't available you can order delivery from the brewery right next door, if you want a beer as well

I’d never had Indonesian food before, but it was delicious! Their menu has a lot of clearly labeled vegan options and the staff were super nice. Our order ended up taking a long time so they actually gave us the whole thing for free, plus 2 macaroons for dessert!

Delicious, lots of vegan and gluten free options! - Edit
I was not expecting to find a spot like this in Harrisonburg, but was very pleasantly surprised! The staff is so sweet and attentive, the food is so flavorful, and came out very fast. The menu is over 50% vegan/vegetarian, with everything clearly labeled, and many gluten free options.

Had so many dishes from here and each was more amazing than the last. Had a coconut jackfruit dish and a papaya salad, tempeh summer rolls, tempeh skewers, and vegan fried rice. All the food was rich and amazing. Food was made fast and fresh. The only thing was the jackfruit was a bit salty, only downside.

I stopped by on a multi-day drive for dinner. The staff was so, so friendly and the service was very quick, even for dine-in. Vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu. I had the spring rolls and fried rice. I can't recommend them enough!! The pickled vegetables in the fried rice take it up a notch.

this place was amazing! my mom and i went here tonight for dinner and the lady working who was a red head was very nice and had lots of information about the menu as well as on the town. she was very polite and overall a very good waitress. even though it is a small restaurant we were socially distant from the other guests. i got the potato tofu curry and i thought it was amazing! my mom liked her food but she just didn't love it because she isn't used to indonesian food which isn't the restaurants fault. we also got tofu spring rolls as a appetizer and i thought they were very good! for dessert we got the friend banana which was average. and my mom ordered a dozen macaronis to go and she said they were delicious especially the almond one! they had many vegan options and i'm very glad i went here tonight for dinner. definitely check them out if you haven't! they had many vegan options!

We found Boboko through Happy Cow while traveling on I-81. It's a small place with limited seating so we took seats at the counter and had a fantastic meal. The delicious vegan fried rice comes with tempeh satay that were nicely done, and the potato and tofu curry was very flavorful with a nice coconut flavor. Wait staff was very friendly and right on top of things. I would highly recommend Boboko if you are in or passing through the area.

Dining with carnists can always be a challenge, but thankfully BoBoKo is very easy for vegans and their carnist friends to come together for a meal. The menu clearly marks vegan choices and out server stated that other dishes could have tofu substituted in place of meat.

BoBoKo has extremely tasty food- we had two of the curries and spring rolls. all are very delicious and we loved the rice crackers that came with the curries, which made it unique dining experience for us. the wait staff was very kind to us. we had to wait for a while for our table, so we went to the brewery next door which was very fun. they called us earlier than expected but held a table for us while we finished our drinks at the brewery. this is a fun area in harrisonburg for a night out!

Great Little Restaurant with Vegan Options - Edit
BoBoKo is a great little Indonesian restaurant with a good number of vegan options. I've been there 5 times and I'm always very pleased with the food, super friendly staff, quality, price, and options for both Vegans and non-v's alike. Their Tempeh and Tofu Summer Rolls are amazing. Their Roasted Tomato and Butternut Squash soup is fantastic as are their Spiced Marinated Tempeh, Potato and Tofu Curry and Indonesian Street food choices. I would give this 5 stars if I could but since they are not Vegan I can't. I'll go back again.
