Serves meat, vegan options available. Has a separate veg menu but you need to ask for it. The staff is helpful. Try the fried rice, pad thai, coconut soup, or spring rolls.

Decent, but staff is hit and miss - Edit

A couple of the vegan options are pretty good. The massaman curry is nice. But I have ordered takeout three or four times and have never heard of this secret veg menu. I always just ask what is vegan and order that (I also always forget which are vegan). But one time we ordered a noodle dish (Pad Si Ew I think) and I didn't notice until I got home that it had chicken. Disgusting. I called them and they were apologetic, and offered to replace it or give me a credit. I took the credit. The next time I called to use the credit, they had no record of it! They eventually gave me a free curry in replacement, but it took forever and they were very skeptical and had a lot of questions which I couldn't answer for certain (what date was it, who did you speak to, etc).
After that I won't go back.

So the food is okay, but the staff is VERY inconsistently trained on the veg options.

Pros: Not bad food

Cons: few vegan options, inconsistent understanding of vegan options, staff is hit or miss

It's okay... - Edit

I've been here twice, and both times the food was nice, but didn't blow me away. The staff was friendly, but the service was also quite slow. Maybe they didn't have enough kitchen staff, but last time I was there we waited almost an hour for our food :(

Pros: vegan options, nice food, friendly staff

Cons: waited awhile for food

Not sure if I can trust the kitchen... - Edit

We went to Bob Likes Thai Food twice, since it is close to our house and I had read the previous review of Happycow mentioning the vegan options. This is exactly why I 100% prefer to eat at vegan or vegetarian restaurants.
The 1st time, the server did not know about a separate menu and told us what we could eat after checking with the kitchen, So we ordered the massaman curry and the yellow curry.
The second time, the server was much more aware and pulled out the "special menu" from behind the bar which was much more clear in terms of options, and oh oh, apparently the massamam curry is vegan but not the yellow curry. So that is really annoying. We're not sure what happened on our first visit, and we tried something different on the second visit. It was pretty tasty but with each mouthful came some doubts so I am not sure if we will go back. If you are not as fussy as I am, I recommend giving it a try, They claim they can prepare quite a few veg options, desserts are vegetarian and sound delicious.

Cons: unsure about vegan prep

I love their food! - Edit

I used to work near by so I went there a lot. It was the only Thai place that I know of that has a separate vegan menu - you have to ask for it... They keep it in this black binder and some servers who are new don't even know about it...

On that vegan menu each item is marked whether or not it can be made vegan. They have quite few options but my favorite is definitely their fried rice and spring rolls.

Pros: Delicious food, Vegan menu, cozy restaurant
