This tiny Buddhist place is absolutely amazing. Come around noon and the food will be freshly cooked and delicious. Super cheap and the owner is very friendly! Loved it :)

Homely food - Edit
It's a small set up with home made food. Food was nice. However, the place can be depressing to eat at. I luckily found good company, so was chatting with her. It's not a place i would happily take someone along with. Just a place I'll go if I'm really hungry and want to eat a lot at reasonable prices.

Homey & Delicious! - Edit
If you are looking for super flavorful, authentic food then come here! The owners are from south Vietnam, so the food is a lot more flavorful than the other places I've tried up here in Hanoi. The owners are super nice and don't charge extra for extra rice or vegetables. I had the bun rieu and it was probably the best I've ever had, including bun rieu I've had before I turned vegan! The owner treats everyone like family

Yummy local food - Edit
Basic restaurant with good food. Small menu. We ordered the spring roll noodle dish, pancake, and some samosas. All good and 20-45.000

Great Vegan Vietnamese - Edit
This place has lots of great vegan options, including a delicious fresh noodle salad with cut spring rolls on top with a peanut filling. Unlike other vegan food I've had in Hanoi, this is authentic and well priced.
Cons: no air con, just fans.

Tastyyyyyyyy - Edit
A true vegan restaurant in Hanoi has been hard to find without getting into touristic decores and prices. Originally made for the locals but veganism seems slow catching in these parts as a result sees a fair share of Asian and further abroad visitors. LOVE the pillow pocket things stuffed with all kinds of goodness
Pros: Staff are super friendly and nice, Authentic feels, Never crowded
Cons: Closes around 10:30pm

Bo De Quan Bodhi Vegetarian - Edit
12/01 Visited this place for lunch. Had a cơm đĩa (mixed platter) 40,000d. A platter is a plate with rice in the middle and around are some greens, piece of fried tofu, some mixed veggies, sweet potato all was warm. I ordered two fried spring rolls 10,000d each. Is vegan but not my style.
Pros: appears vegan, staff friendly
Cons: very ordinary buffet, decor very drabby

so good! - Edit
I ate here a lot when I was in Hanoi. there are two kinds of soup and both are delicious, as well as the spring rolls! the owner and her daughter are very kind, and they also have coffee which seems to be pretty rare at vegetarian restaurants!
Pros: great value, really tasty, great service

Really tasty! - Edit
I love this place & eat here almost everyday. The owners began cooking veg in the pagoda & then decided to open up a restaurant. This is a great local place with a casual feeling & friendly vibe.
The rice dish is always a great choice. It comes with several sides that change daily. There's also different soup (the banana is delish!), which changes daily as well.
The menu is a bit limited but all items are a hit - you really can't go wrong here. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food keeps me coming back again and again. Also, the price is around 50K for most items ($2!).
Do yourself a favor & check out this place!
Pros: everything is awesome!
Cons: limited menu
