Vegan Burger Joint

I do like Bmore Righteous and think it's worth a visit, but you should be aware of what you are getting. All burgers and chicken are purchased and heated, not made in-house. With the exception of the fries (which are delicious), if you are looking for an eating experience you can't have in your own home, this is not the place for you. Even so, I like having other people make a vegan burger or chikun sandwich for me now and then and they do that job well here.

Build your dream sammie!

I LOVE the vegan wings and the entire concept of a build-your-own vegan sandwich shop. This would be a fun place to grab a bite to eat with friends or to visit for a casual date.

Pros: Cute place , Delicious food , Make it YOUR way

Was surprised how much I liked it

So, I didn't have high expectations because it seemed like a pretty boilerplate veggie burger place. They use boca patties (I think?) and the cheese options are Daiya or Chao. But I was home sick craving a veggie burger one day and ordered delivery and I really loved it! The bun was soft and fresh, the fries served with it were crispy and delicious without being at all greasy (I think because they're air fried?) and there were a lot of tasty toppings and sauces to choose from (avocado, kimchi, pineapple, vegan garlic mayo.... I also really enjoyed the vegan wings! All in all, a yummy lunch pick for sure.

Pros: Fast and tasty

Cons: I do wish they'd offer a homemade vegan "cheese"

Tasty eats at this nice burger joint

Just what the doctor ordered - some comfort vegan food in a nicely designed setting with friendly staff. We sampled the regular burger, the buffalo chik'n sandwich, the wangs and the Old Bay fries. All were delicious - the buffalo sandwich and the wangs were spicy without being overpowering and the Old Bay fries were cooked to perfection. Enjoyed a game of checkers while we waited (they provide board games), they tell you at the counter that all meals will take at least 20 minutes to prepare so we settled in to the nicely designed and decorated dining area. The staff was friendly and helpful, all around a really nice experience.

Awesome burger joint

I love vegan burgers, and this place has some great ones! I loved the chicken scallopini, (I got it with vegan ranch, field roasted chao, romaine, and red onions). It is exactly what I needed/wanted: fast, easy, and tasty. The vibe is also really chill and artsy. I know the owner is still setting up a few things/working out logistics - once it has a regular routine this will be one of the best places to grab a quick bite or hang out.

Pros: All vegan, Choose your own combo, comes with fries , Tables to eat-in

Cons: Only side is fries , If it’s busy there’s probably a wait (for now)

A good place for a vegan burger

This isn’t “fast” food (you will have to wait 10 minutes or so), but it is a good place to go if you are willing to pay $10 for a custom vegan burger and fries. In the end, that isn’t a bad price to pay for the amount of food you get! There were more unique options than I expected, like turmeric tofu and chickpea toona. The best part (in my opinion) was the murals made by local artists. This place just feels incredibly local.

Pros: All vegan, Very local , Cool murals

Cons: A bit expensive for a burger, but fries are free , Some patties are just the frozen kind

Good food, but nothing special.

My burger was good, but it wasn’t great. I could have bought a box of Boca burgers (which they use), some buns, and made a whole batch of burgers at home for the same price as one and in the same amount of time. I’d like to see something special. Some interesting toppings, homemade sauces and patties, something that makes the burger worth going out of my way for. It tasted fine, but it didn’t taste $10 fine. It wasn’t what i would call fast food, either; fifteen minutes for two burgers in an otherwise empty restaurant is pushing it.I dislike that the patties were cooked in a toaster oven and not grilled. The buns could have benefited from being lightly grilled or toasted. I wish they had more drinks and desserts available. I think this is a great idea for a restaurant and i really hope they make improvements so it stands out. There’s so much potential here but it isn’t hitting the mark. If they make changes, i will try this out again.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: costly, slow service

Thank you for your review! We take all feedback seriously and will improve in areas where we see more improvement is necessary. We are not a fast food restaurant, and have asked Happy Cow to remove that label from our business listing. We don't want to give customers unfair expectations. Our mini conveyor belt commercial oven is not a toaster oven. We also apologize that you had to wait 15 minutes. The food is made to order - seasoned fries and prepackaged burgers; which we are not at all shy about telling our customers. All produce is fresh, and our chickpea tuna and cabbage slaw is made in-house. We will definitely look to improve dessert and drink options as we grow. Thank you!

The Right Ingredients, Recipe Still Being Perfected

In every recipe, there are a few unwritten ingredients that will make the dish truly stellar. I could follow a recipe to a T, but if I leave out the passion, or underestimate attention to detail, the end result will be a bit lackluster. So even with all the right ingredients, it's up to the cook to prepare a recipe well.

Here's a business that's got potential. Bmore Righteous enjoyed their grand opening this past weekend. This [edit by staff] restaurant serves up build-your-own style burgers. Patrons select from 3 buns, 7 various vegan proteins, and can choose from all the standard burger toppings. Served up with a side of fries, it's a recipe for a delicious meal.

Yet, it seems the recipe is still being perfected. It pains me to say it, but the fries weren't my favorite...and it's hard to make a potato I don't love! They were a little oily, cooked inconsistently, and the seasoning wasn't quite landing for me. So that's one area where I'd like to see improvement. And I long for some more creative toppings—I want Baltimore to push the limits and take burger building to new arenas! I want a burger that can't be ordered elsewhere...probably not even from my own kitchen! So a signature Bmore Righteous topping could be enticing. And if Bmore Righteous could offer a prep process (and subsequent wait time) that's a little more efficient so I can pop in and out during my lunch hour, I'd be SO thrilled. Now, I'd want that to happen without sacrificing the little details that make a burger special, like the crisp, toasted bun; the neatly layered lettuce; or the perfectly cooked and seasoned patty!

Bmore Righteous has collected all the ingredients listed in their recipe—and then some. It has something more: a community that wants it! But some of those unwritten ingredients are still missing.

While I don't believe they're there yet, if Bmore Righteous can demonstrate itself as a passionate and high-quality operation by delivering fast, flavorful, and truly one-of-a-kind burgers, I think they're likely to see success for years to come!

Pros: Crowd-pleaser; offers many options, Convenience

Cons: Expensive, Somewhat lackluster at present (opening weekend)
