This location of Blush Lane has a whole side that can be opened up to the main street in Marda Loop and a place to eat food from their ready-to-eat selection. They had vegan items in their fridges labeled, including a Raw Peanut Butter square!! Yum. Lots of vegan products, more niche products. Coming here is always a treat.
The new Blush Lane is a wonderful addition to the constantly updated community of Marda Loop. It is fresh and easy to navigate, and the open air feeling in the summer is a great feature. Staff are always friendly and easy to approach, and the in house kitchen provides nutritious meals and decadent sweet snacks. The only negative aspect of Blush is that the prices are very high for everyday items, especially produce, but it's too be expected from what I assume is locally sourced groceries.
This new Blush Lane is such a beautiful market that is also within walking distance for me. They have a great outdoor space that opens up when it's nice, and you can have a hot lunch if you so desire.
HOWEVER, they'll have the odd sale, which you think is great, until you realize their sale price is possible even more than the regular price at Community Natural Foods. Not all items are this way, some are on par, but overall they are overpriced.
Another HOWEVER though, is that their selection is AMAZING! They definitely have more of the products I want to buy in one place than any other health food store. They have a great selection of vegan cheese (Chao, Earth Island...) and on-tap True-buch!
Have a membership there, have their bag, will be back.
