Delicious brunch spot - Edit
What it lacks in service, makes up for in tasty food. The first time I went service was more efficient though it was quieter, the second time, it was difficult to get served but would still go back as the food was yummy. The pancakes were really good, we had the pistachio, not overly sweet, shakusha was tasty. The lox toast was good but the bread was tough to eat. Such a nice spot in all fairness, bonus points that they have a Laptop friendly area. The bathrooms are also maybe one of the coolest I've seen

Good Brunch - Edit
The food is creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish feels thoughtfully composed and high quality. The service was very attentive.
Read moreYou definitely need a reservation on weekends, as the place gets very full. Prices are on the higher side, and the portions are rather small.

Gorgeous cozy place - Edit
Wow! Blumental is an amazing spot in Berlin. Although not completely vegan (but stll vegetarian) this place is an absolute MUST to visit. So therefor 5 stars! The restaurant looks like a big cozy livingroom. The staff is incredible friendly. The food is beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Truly outstanding!

Went to heaven - Edit
Here I had one of the best meals. Portions are very generous, and because I wanted to try something savory and something sweet, I took my time 😅 The lax is absolutely incredible - the pea paste flavour and texture, the perfectly marinated carrot, the little hints of other elements. I wish I had this place in my city. Then, the pink pancake - again, marvelous. A looot of sour cherries in the middle of the pancake tower. The pancakes were crispy on the edge and fluffy inside. Vert yummy. The place is big, divided into different areas. You order and pay via a QR code. Pets are allowed =D

Numerous vegan options in large location - Edit
Huge place, light and modern. We came for lunch and they had some interesting vegan choices but I feel the brunch or cakes would be even better.
Read morePersonally didn’t like ordering via the app. To be fair, there is an option to order at the counter for those that prefer that and/or want to pay with cash.
My food came way after that of the other dishes, which wasn’t great and who wants to tip before the end of the visit?
I had the vegan option of the Shakshuka, which was tasty.

Delicious food and lovely aesthetic - Edit
I ordered the vegan Spring French Toast and iced Purple Cloud. Both were amazing and tasted decadent. The French toast was the perfect portion size for me (especially compared to my other experiences in Berlin where there has been too much food in a portion). The iced drink was creamy and not too sweet, my preference. The ambience was delightful with many plants and trees inside and a lovely decor. The women's bathroom was quite clean, admirable with how crowded the place was. We went on a Sunday and it is highly recommended that you make a reservation for weekend dining.

I liked it here, the place is huge but also quite popular so it makes sense to reserve a table in advance and prepare for some waiting time. It can be a bit overwhelming, also pricey, but I liked the food.

Unbedingt genießen! Zukunftskonzept mit Herz! - Edit
Wir waren begeistert! Super leckeres Essen mit großartiger Atmosphäre in einem historischen Ambiente in Kreuzberg. Was will man mehr? Try the lemon Monte tart! Wir haben neue Inspirationen für unsere vegane Küche für daheim mitgenommen. Kichererbsen-Crunch, spitze auch Houmus el ranout mit Sauerteigbrot. Wir kommen wieder!

Avoid it all cost - Edit
The place has cool vibes but that’s it. The place advertises heavily as vegan friendly but tonight I had only one vegan option. The baking goods looked quiet dry and the croissant was not even vegan? Is that a joke?
Read moreThe waitress seemed new, and that’s okay but she had an attitude, definitely not friendly. Her English was quiet bad, and said she thinks it’s all vegan from the menu… she thinks? Wasn’t it her job to know? And later came back to say the cheeses were not vegan.
Menus were never brought to the table, I had to go find them and ask for them. Then we had to wait at least 20 min to get noticed… no the place was not packed but they are clearly understaffed too.
My vegan dish was tasty but very disappointing, I left hungry. Paid 25€ for an attitude, leaving hungry, an okay cocktail and getting charged for water (tap water is forbidden to ask she said).
The bar guy seemed more friendly and suggested we come back during the day where there are more vegan options. But well as a suggestion, don’t advertise it as a great place for vegans when u can’t do vegan dishes and have not figured out about vegan cheeses and vegan croissants. It’s Berlin
Also sold out on dishes at 7 pm? It was only the beginning of the night…
I gotta add, the vegan menus seems to be made by non vegans who think vegans don’t eat. We both left hungry. I’m vegan 8 years and this place is definitely one of the worse „vegan friendly“ places I’ve visited.
We were also told the place was booked out so we had only one table to sit but we never saw other people sitting on the couch or n various tables around us….
Oh and we had to fix the table with a little paper so it does not wobble 🤣…
Almost forgot - The food was not fully warm. One of the dishes was cold. Seemed like the least of issues in this evening though…. We did not ask for this fixing because we were afraid of meeting with more attitude. We did have one rolling eyes as I asked for a spoon at some point, in my attempt of eating a bit more of that sauce… as I said, the food was not filling.
Pros: Cute lighting, Nice plants
Cons: Mainly vegetarian, few vegan options, Not filling food we left hungry, Flavors were meh, not impressed

For Work or Rest - Edit
A super nice big space with areas where you can work and areas dedicated more for dining. Food is very good though maybe not quite as good as I'd hope given the prices. Still, I do keep going back! The Shakshuka in particular is delicious, really well seasoned, and the sauerdough bread wonderful. A chocolate raspberry dessert (all the desserts are vegan) was super nice. The avocado toast I found a bit heavy on the carrot 'salmon' but was very yummy too. Relaxed atmosphere and nice staff.

Too much - Edit
Too crowded, too loud, too hip, too expensive.
Read moreIt’s a place for tourists and people, who are into „hipster-Kreuzberg“.
You really have to yell to have a conversation with each other. The dishes are too small for the pricing and are pretty average, nothing special.
Wouldn’t go there again, even though the staff was nice.
