Amazing vegan smoked salmon

A lovely little place and the vegan smoked salmon they have is amazing! You can buy it in a tub to take home which is great. I also loved the donuts, a great range of flavours.

first vegan donut

I was looking to this place a lot. Finally i went there and bought big box full of amazing vegan donuts also for my family to try.

I chose oreo, PB jelly, blueberry with vanilla cream, classic donut with jam inside and choco croissant + box of cute Christmas pastry.

Choco croissant was a bit dry, PB jelly not that good, but oreo and blueberry with vanilla cream was the best!! i recommend also Boston cream one.
Service was kind, it is nice place :)

Pros: idea, taste

Cons: location

Donut trek

Loved this little place! Had many different vegan treats (mainly donuts but with a few cookies). V simple layout but great to have that option there! However, for me at least, I found some of the wall pieces a little too intense - one of which basically saying if you weren't vegan you didn't have a heart! Could really put others off who might be trying to make a change - bit too in-your-face for me! Most of the donuts were beautiful and the cream inside some of them - bloody hell! However I did sample the gluten free donut but had to throw it away ! Really not very nice (and I normally eat everything in sight). Works out at about £2 per donut :)

Amazing baked donuts

Totally worth going into this new vegan bakery. Camie and Markét are famous Czech vegan public figures, check out their youtube channels. Donuts are super yummy, made fresh every morning by the two of them. You won't regret visiting this place!

Pros: baked not fried, friendly staff

Cons: no coffee, other thigns to sell?

AMAZING donuts, disappointing service

As a vegan since 2004 I am always ecstatic when a new vegan place opens up. I was twice as excited when the Blue Vegan Pig opened. Vegan donuts in Prague? Yes, please!!!

BVP did not let me down: the donuts and cakes are amazing. Seriously, some of the best treats around. I have already cashed in a fully stamped card for a free donut and it should not be too long before I will get a second free one. :)

However, the attendants at BVP, while nice enough, do not seem at all interested in providing good customer service.

Instead of listening to me and giving me the treats I ask for from their selection, the attendants try to explain to me why the ones I don't want are how they are, and then try giving them to me anyway. This has happened on multiple occasions.

Is it attitude? Is it arrogance? Is it ignorance? Is it laziness? Is it a lack of caring? Whatever their service is, it sucks. Customer service is defined as assisting the people who buy a company's products. Seriously, please just give me what I ask for and save your excuses for the last available donut or piece of cake.

So, the treats at BVP get 10 out of 5 stars. The service and attitude of people working there get 1 out of 5 stars, since, like I said, they are nice enough, yet their customer service leaves much to be desired.

Pros: Amazing treats, Location / accessibility, Open on Saturday

Cons: Lack of good customer service, No standard offer - treats change from day-to-day, Not open on Monday

good doughnuts!

Good place to grab a snack and go. I had a chocolate covered doughnut which was really good but sadly the place doesn't make you want to stay..

Sweet heaven

Offers donuts, cakes and other sweets, offer varies daily. Also offers open side sandwiches and other savory items like smoked salmon, sausages in pastry and more. Of course fully vegan. The donuts are really great, their Oreo and Boston cream is a must try.

Pros: Variety in offer, One of a kind place in Prague , Uses eco packaging

Cons: Cannot pay by card

pretty good donuts but no coffee

It seems like coffee always goes with donuts, but this place doesn't serve it. Just donuts and some small brekky sandwiches. The donuts were pretty good, but the space was small, making you not want to stay and visit with friends.

Pros: good donuts, fun flavors

Cons: small space, no coffee

Vegan donuts!

This is a great spot to pick up some treats! When we visited there seemed to be a few savoury options, including what looked like battered sausages, but I only had eyes for the donuts! There were about 3 different kinds, plus some eclairs. There was a fruity ring donut, and a Lotus/speculoos one which was really good, but the eclairs were the star of the show. I'll definitely be back for more! It's just next door to Chutnej, so it's good to go there for a meal and here for dessert!
