Read moreRecently my wife contracted a severe case of food poisoning from the Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food, resulting in her hospitalization for two nights and the cancelation of our upcoming meeting. Thank goodness she recovered fully after a couple of weeks. At the hospital where my wife was treated, one nurse told me if this continues this can become a major problem for this restaurant because clients who have been injured from eating tainted food or ingesting harmful foreign contaminants in unsafe adulterated food can be taxing on a person.
As the nurse told us, food poisoning has become so common these days, that it is not always taken as seriously as it should be, and she believes that many episodes go unreported. This is due to people taking a “wait and see” approach or failing to make the connection as to why they are sick. The costs of food poisoning can quickly add up with medical exams, lab tests, treatment and time missed from work. Check with your local Health Department to learn if others have reported similar incidents from this restaurant, because in Florida the statute of limitations for filing a food poisoning negligence lawsuit is four years from the date of harm. So If anyone has experienced similar issues associated with Blue Tree Cafe Vegan Soul Food restaurant, take pictures, and document everything, and lastly be sure to submit a report to the Florida department of food inspection and be sure to contact a licensed attorney at law.

Loved their food, although the onion rings were quite oily. I would advise them to raise the temp of their frying oil. 😌 the corn bread was out of this world.
