Great selection of sushi - Edit
About a third of their sushi menu has vegan options with many appetizer and a few dessert vegan options as well. The cowgirl roll was good. It tasted like a burger because of the bbq paper and onion rings. The South Pacific roll was pretty good and the chocolate torte was alright. The raspberry sorbet was very soft but the chocolate was a little too bitter for me. Overall the place was a great vibe and service was good.

Actual Vegan Sushi (not just cucumber rolls!) - Edit
Delicious vegan sushi with mock tuna/salmon options, as well as tempura rolls, soup and nigiri.

Awesome vegan sushi menu - Edit
Blue sushi has really invested in their vegan menu. I’ve been going to Blue since 2016 and they used to have only 4-5 vegan options, but every year they add a little more and change up some of the rolls! Staff is very knowledgeable on what is and isn’t vegan, menu is clearly labeled. Every Sunday is all-day happy hour and they always have some vegan rolls on the happy hour menu. Blue is also a chain so while the Nashville location is sort of new, you can go to any of the other locations and get the same experience and the same vegan menu. I’ve had vegan sushi from Blue in Texas and Missouri as well and it’s always been consistent.

I’ve done this a few times, just purchasing gift cards for myself, and it’s a really good value. You cannot used two gift cards on the same visit.
Pros: Variety, Consistency, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Can be pricey

Best Vegan Sushi You’ll Ever Try - Edit
I’ve been to Blue many times now. It’s the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. They have a generous selection of mouthwatering vegan maki and sashimi. Their edamame appetizers are delicious too. They also have some vegan desserts and booze. The coconut lemongrass sake is divine. The staff are usually always friendly and accommodating. The vibes are good and the restaurant is very clean. I take one star off because it’s not a fully vegan restaurant and the food is very expensive, but it is worth the price. It can also be a bit loud. Pro tip: go on a Tuesday because they discount all their vegan sushi on Tuesdays. Overall, I highly recommend this joint for phenomenal vegan sushi!

Awesome vegan sushi from a non-vegan spot - Edit
I’d give it 5 stars if I could, but since it’s not vegan entirely, they get solid four star rating. I’ve eaten at multiple locations before and they’ve always been outstanding. It’s so nice to be able to go to a non-vegan sushi place and have more than just a cucumber roll.

The rolls I tried honestly blew my mind. I have never had so many vegan options to choose from. Kinda mad I didn’t find out about this place sooner! Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. The jalapeño and cream cheese roll was so good, I’m still thinking about it

Best Vegan Sushi - Edit
Cute sushi spot located on the second floor of small shops and parking garage. Clearly labeled vegan options. Knowledgeable staff. A variety of traditional and creative rolls veganized. Started off with the spicy charred edamame, great flavor. I tried the masago nigiri (with the caviart masago), avo kaluna (with vegan tuna), umami maki (with the eggplant eel), up in smoke (with vegan salmon, vegan cream cheese, and vegan shrimp tempura), and the cowgirl roll (fun and crunchy, bbq and pickle). I want to go back and try them all. It was a bit slow getting all the food out so don’t go if you’re starving without getting an appetite that came out fast. Loved it, would be 5 stars if it let me.

Vegan Sushi Options - Edit
This sushi place is right in the middle of the downtown scene but on the second floor so a little tough to find if it’s your first visit. I was excited to see an actual vegan section on the menu. Most sushi places have options but I haven’t seen so many vegan choices. I started with a cucumber salad, which was great. The Shiitake To Me was delicious. #Veganuary

Delicious vegan food in an area that's not vegan friendly - Edit
My boyfriend and I were in Nashville to see the Capitals play the Predators (hockey). Let's face it, Broadway is not exactly veg-friendly. (It seems most of the all-vegan places are in East Nashville.) But Blue Sushi ticked all the boxes: It's super close to Bridgestone Arena (I could actually see it from my patio seat), and it has an extensive vegan sushi menu, including "Caviart." Unfortunately, our server wasn't sure of the difference between the three types, but she did find out the taste profile, if not the actual composition. (What were those cute little reddish orange orbs?) The Thai Hippie roll, drizzled in peanut sauce, might be one of my new favorite rolls ever. It's got a tiny bit of a kick, which was mitigated by a quick dip in the soy sauce. The Avo Kaluna, with faux tuna and avocado, was a simpler roll but no less tasty. On impulse we got a fourth roll, the Black Dragon, with vegan "shrimp" (no doubt made of some root vegetable) and eggplant (which is often used in vegan "eel" recipes). It was also very tasty. Service was friendly but not too rushed. If you are going before an event, arrive early or let them know you have tickets. But it's maybe a five- to ten-minute walk to the arena doors.

Pros: Extensive vegan menu, Delicious food, Close to the arena

This is place is the GOAT for vegan sushi. 18 vegan sushi rolls to choose from, plus other vegan options on the menu. Vegan tuna, shrimp, caviart, eel, mayo, and cream cheese options available! This is the gold standard for how to provide vegan options at a non-vegan restaurant. Would give 5 stars if allowed!

Omg thank you Jesus!!! We’re from California & have had the toughest time finding good vegan food in TN that doesn’t taste like they just took vegan frozen food & stick it in the microwave! Blue Sushi Sake Grill was absolutely AMAZING! High scale restaurant. Definitely on point with what you would see in Los Angeles. The Shataki Mushroom vegan roll in the best. Vegan miso is great. Tofu lettuce wraps also amazing. We had the best server too he was very knowledgeable about the vegan options & what was the best! We will be going back there. MAKE A RESERVATION. RESERVATIONS ONLY!

Unbelievably Delicious +Options - Edit
They have a whole vegan menu with so many vegan options. The sushi was absolutely amazing. It was beautiful, had texture and so much flavor. When I asked what the “caviart” was made with one of the ingredients was magic. Rightly so because it was magical. My omni husband said that the “tuna” is identical to the real thing. Normally at non-vegan restaurants I’m able to order the whole menu, but there are so many options here, I must come back. I’m only in town for a week but I will be visiting almost daily. If you are in Nashville,Tennessee this should be your first stop.

Very good vegan section of the menu….Ask for the vegan miso and the edamame to start…both a bit salty (which we like!), but very good…Had the Veggie rolls, Dragon roll, and Shitake rolls…all were awesome….they even offer a spicy vegan Mayo, and gluten free soy..enjoy!
