Phenomenal Vegan Sushi, and Adding All the Time - Edit
We've been coming here for years and absolutely love it. They constantly are revamping and adding to their vegan sushi. Having vegan miso soup is also a huge plus.

Best ever vegan sushi!!!! You cannot go wrong, but my favorites are the Shittake to Me, Crunchy Cabbage, and Thai Hippie. 1/2 off many rolls on Tuesdays & Sundays.

Large vegan section in their menu! - Edit
Definitely recommend and will be coming back while staying in Austin. I’m at the domain and it’s walking distance from here. Large variation of vegan sushi. Not the biggest fan of their vegan tuna, I’m not into the vegan meats. Texture is similar taste is not (thankfully).

They have sooo many different vegan maki. I got the vegan black dragon and the crispy cabbage. They were both delicious, but I wish I could have tried more. A sampler options where you choose more kinds but get less would be a great addition to their menu. This would be a fun place to bring a big group and split everything.

The drinks and the food are wonderful and I’ve always gotten amazing service. I have an allergy to alliums and my server made sure everything I ordered was garlic/onion free! They have so many vegan options (my fav is the Eden Roll and Vegan Inari) plus vegan deserts. I always make a reservation and get there early to find parking because since it’s in the domain, it’s often busy. Also kinda pricey but perfect for a date or night out with friends. Be sure to try the charred edamame!

Vegan sushi menu. Vegan appetizers. Everything clearly marked. Try the Hippie Thai, Hot Popper and Up in Smoke. You won’t know which one is best! Have the Brussels sprouts! Wow! Vegan Tuesday - Edit
Vegan Tuesday is a must . Vegan options are small but there are few I found my favorite to be on the first visit with all the little side choices for the soy sauce options. Tables was clean and decorated to the point .

Loving Vegan Tuesday! - Edit
Enjoyed some solid vegan rolls. This is the kind of place I would have been thrilled to find when dining out with non vegans - many vegan choices on the menu. However, the makis are not that delicious just ok. Again would be fabulous for mixed groups with omnivores.

Over-rated but North Austin Has Limited Choices - Edit
I tried their top recommended rolls and their three Veganary 2020 specials.
Read moreFirst, the Cowgirl should not be combined with the other more traditional rolls. I had to eat a bunch of ginger after eating the Cowgirl. It is interesting but expect it to taste like eating a veggie burger with onion rings and the sauce is spicy ketchup. If you want it fully commit. Don't mix.
The Thai Hippie roll was good but I would prefer to go to a Thai restaurant rather than eat it rolled up. It does not clash with the other rolls as much as the Cowgirl but it's not ideal either.
The best rolls were Hot Night Jan Special & Shitake to Me. The Black Dragon Jan Special was more of a desert roll. Don’t order take out for the Tuna Tower. It’s just a bowl of rice, avocado and “tuna” randomly thrown in the take out container. There is not a way to recreate the one in their website photo.
Take out was an extra 4% and they don’t offer curbside. The sauces were not marked so it took a while to figure out which sauce went with which roll. Their outside area is sealed in plastic and some of the staff do not wear masks. Six rolls were $70

Absolutely amazing vegan sushi, including vegan tuna and roe! Would love to try everything on their vegan menu, but will need a much larger group! Favorites were the cowgirl and the Thai Hippie rolls, but everything we had was delicious.

A group of six of us came to try out the extensive vegan sushi menu and we were not disappointed. We split 15 rolls between us and it was under $20! Everything was delicious, and very creative. My favorites were the Thai Hippie and Green Goddess.

This place was good! I would definitely go again. it had a very generous selection of vegan friendly appetizers and sushi rolls. I just had a few little complaints. Some of the 'sushi' rolls dont exactly come off as 'sushi' because the flavors are a little bizarre. We tried almost every roll on the menu and there were some hits and some BIG misses. If I remember right, nobody at my table could stand the Cowgirl or the Shiitake to Me roll. Secondly....if you get seated outside or near the window on a hot day, this place is down-wind from a dumpster and smells TERRIBLE. The day i was there the entire patio absolutely REEKED of rotting dumpster.😒It was really bad, but I will still go again....and request to be seating inside this time.
