Delicious donuts - Edit
As a first time visitor to Portland, had to try the places I had heard about. Blue Star donuts came highly recommended; very well deserved. The NW location was closest to our hotel. Not 100% vegan, though. Two vegan options left by the time we arrived late afternoon, blueberry basil cake, and sugar & spice cake. Both were deliciously moist, fluffy; not at all dry like some cake donuts. Traveling companion had non-vegan varieties & was quite pleased. We skipped coffe, tea; both available. Fun place to meet & greet. Friendly, knowledgeable, engaging staff. On street metered parking.

These donuts were absolutely unreal. I got the orange olive oil and the passion fruit cake donuts. Both were among the best donuts I’ve had. The orange olive donut was slightly citrusy and well balanced. No single flavor jumped out, but all of the things came together nicely. It also had a powder sugar coating, which added a nice subtle crunch to the texture.
Read moreI loooved the passion fruit cake donut. The frosting was juicy, sweet, and tart—exactly like a fresh passion fruit. There was also a slight kick from some chili powder or other spicy powder that they used to dust the top. Did I mention the frosting was really really good? I licked the wrapper. Don’t judge me.

The staff here is very nice and the vegan donut options are usually pretty cool, Although I wish they had more vegan options. They also have good coffee.

Great selection of donuts. 4 which are vegan - blueberry, orange oil, cinnamon, matcha. My favourites are the matcha and orange oil. $2.75 each. not bad price. also do coffee and tea
