Great Place! Plan your visit before they close! - Edit
They have a lot of vegetarian/vegan food options. Fantastic baked goods and coffee. Different specials every day. Go show them some love before they close! Their last day will be March 1 2013.

Go for the seitan sandwich! - Edit
Blue planet really took us by surprise. We were scheduled to stop in Lawrence KS, but we found Blue Planet on the internet and decided to make an early stop. Its a really fantastic place in the heart of Topeaka. Its up a flight of steps in an old stone building. You order at the counter, which has a nice pastry area stocked with vegan goodies. Blue Planet is definitely where you go to get your caffeine fix. They have an amazing menu of seitan sandwiches. They make the seitan in house. Ginger Teriyaki / Faux Peppered / Tofu Turkey along with their house made bread / soups & salads round out their menu. The space is large, with plenty of places to spread out and make yourself comfortable while reading the morning paper or catching up with the free wifi.
