Serves meat, vegan options available. Serves meats, though about half of menu is vegetarian with over 16 vegetarian/vegan items. Kid and group friendly. Calm, inviting atmosphere with outdoor and traditional Ethiopian seating. Vegetarian friendly late night menu (till 1am). Good for a casual lunch and a classy dinner. Lunch buffet 5 days a week. Saturday and Sunday brunch. Moved from Virginia Ave Oct 2010. Confirmed closed, Oct 2014.

Good food, not great service - Edit
We got the lunch buffet and the food was very good. I liked that of the 10 dishes on the buffet, six were vegan. My husband loves Ethiopian food and said this was some of his favorite. The only bummer was the service. We passed through town near the end of lunch time on a Saturday. Blue Nile was busy, but not packed. Our waitress never refilled our water, or really came by at all after we were seated. We had to ask someone else for our check. The table next to us ordered drinks two separate time and didn't get the until they were done eating.

My mom and I took my son here before Harrisonburg's winter parade and the food was amazing! Great selection and delicious hummus!

the food & service was absolutely amazing. the hummus dish even was available topped with olive oil instead of butter. soy milk was even available for coffee. i can't wait to visit Harrisonburg again so i can go back :-)
