Burrito sin carne tastes good

Burrito filled with rice and beans comes with delicious red and greed salsa.
We ordered also the guacamole which is good and the nachos which we did like so much.
Dishes were between 100 - 115 peso.

ugh. not gonna come back.

i orderd vegan burger with fries - 200 pesos which is a lot, waiter came back after 10 minutes to ask if i want a cheese in it... burger turned out to be beyond and it was not specified on the menu (i don't like this taste and i wouldn't order it if i knew), there was not any sauce inside, i got small packets of ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise(!!!) like in McDonald's. the music in this place was so loud it was driving me crazy. i wanted to pay at the end and they couldn't find my waiter, so i paid at the cash register.

Really expensive for small portions

We ordered vegan tacos and they give you the smallest amount of veggies and 3 taco shells. No guac or beans, really low quality for Mexico

Pros: They have WiFi

Cons: Small portion, Expensive , No guac or beans

No vegan

Cons: Geen vegetarisch of vegan restaurant

Vegan menu

We came here for the vegan options. Upon arriving, we saw the vegan menu posted, and asked about it. Beware, however, there are items with cheese on the vegan menu, and I wasn’t led to believe that they’re using vegan cheese. Unfortunately nothing on the vegan menu was available that day, so they made us veggie fajitas. The guacamole was great! It had fried onions on top, which was unique. The salsa wasn’t anything to write home about, and I was expecting pico de Gallo - perhaps I should have ordered that instead of salsa. Overall good experience, though.

Pros: Vegan menu, Good guac

Cons: Nothing on vegan menu was available, Salsa was meh

Best vegan burrito I've tasted

We had the vegan burrito and vegan enchiladas with avocado and green salsa. They were both delicious, but the burrito was really something else - yum! Also great mango and banana smoothie. The staff was very helpful and nice!

Pros: Separate vegan menu with several options

Options available

Stayed an extended weekend at their beach cabañas. They are pet friendly and Mahahual itself is one of the only pet friendly beach areas in the whole Mexican Caribbean region which is already a big plus. Always ate at their restaurant in the mornings, asking to veganize their menu items like burritos and quesadillas. Food was good, just pay attention when being served, even pointing out no cream nor cheese they would alsways add some over the beans or in the plate. Overall a good place to stay, eat/drink and enjoy the beach.

Pros: Pet Friendly, Accomodation, Beach Club

Cons: No items on menu
