"Temporarily Closed" at this location

It's twice now I've driven here, post 2020, and they've been closed with a sign on the door.

Call first, I keep forgetting to check before coming.

Great for everyone

Wish HappyCow would allow for 5 stars. We need more places like this. They put effort into their vegan options, not just burger replacements. Weekly specials are well updated on website and are always interesting. If you see the eggless salad sandwich or vegan broccoli cheddar balls, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Surprisingly good vegan food!

(Update: we’ve been here regularly since I wrote this review, either by ourselves or with friends, and the food has been on point every single time. This place rocks.)

We’ve been here a couple of times already and have had great food both times. It’s a neighborhood bar, so we don’t expect a lot, but the (vegan) food is surprisingly good.

One of the owners is vegan and the other vegetarian, so they changed the menu a little while ago and started adding both vegan and vegetarian options. They’ve been expanding their vegan menu options due to demand, from what we were told.

They almost always have one vegan soup of the day (every day in the winter, not every day during the summer). The menu has a number of good vegan options and they usually have vegan specials too.

This visit we had two of the vegan specials, their Sonora Flatbread and General Tso Cauliflower (look for the menu in the pictures). Both were very, very good.

They also have an extensive beer menu and a decent cocktail selection too.

Pros: Friendly staff, excited about the vegan offerings, Really good food (especially for a local bar)

Rare find with great food for both vegan and non-vegan.

With none of my family being vegan it’s great to find a place where they can get what they want and I’m not stuck ordering a salad and having to ask them to not include the meat and cheese (and still pay the same price). This is exactly the type of place I’ve been looking for. Love trying new menu items on the weekly specials. It’s good food geared towards the tavern atmosphere.

Pros: Weekly specials trying new vegan dishes, Plenty of options for both vegan and non-vegan

Not very good

We ordered the vegan tacos that were on special, the vegan pulled pork (on special as well), and the vegan cheesesteak with pork. Nothing was very good honestly. The tacos were probably the best, the pulled pork just tasted like pineapple, and the cheesesteak beef “tasted the way dogs smell” (as put by my SO who ordered it).
I would only come back if I was looking for drinks, as they have very big drink menu!

Pros: A decent amount of vegan options, Lot of alcohol and beer, Very kind waitstaff!

Cons: vegan options are super mediocre, borderline bad, In a strip mall, Very strange interior layout

Good veg options, good beer options

There was a decent number of vegan options clearly labeled on the menu (& even more vegetarian options that noted of they could be converted to vegan). The service was friendly & the atmosphere was laid back. You can get beer flights & 32oz growlers of some beers to go. Beer menu did not specify vegan beers, but many breweries don't provide that info.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options
