Definitely Worth A Visit - Edit
As a visitor to the area, finding it starved of variety & vegetarian/vegan options, the Blue Dog was a genuinely great find. The staff were really friendly & helpful and the menu was completely different from all the standard fast food & chain options, offering much more than just a veggie burger or a green salad.
Read moreThe Vegan Breakfast was really good, although don't go into it expecting the "eggs" to taste the same as traditional eggs - they were totally different and much nicer than I remember eggs to be.
One word of caution - the Bellini was incredible and extremely addictive, so make sure someone else is driving
If I get back to Gulfport again I will make the Blue Dog my first stop for food

The Blue Dog is a cute restaurant with a decent number of vegan choices as well as gluten free and other options. They also have a number of unique coffee options and a large drink selection. Unfortunately the service is on the slow side and it's often very busy.

Let me just start with the staff. My hostess and server were very knowledgeable about all of the vegan options! I got the vegan breakfast and the banana oat pancakes! So good! I give this place a 10!!! An absolutely must!

This place spoiled me. In MS I almost never find a menu that has enough options that I’m torn on what to get. I got the Vegan Blue Dog Breakfast and it was delicious. I couldn’t bring myself to order the Beyond Burger on my first visit because that’s so common, but the fact they put a vegan mayo on it has me planning on going back for it.
