The perfect Italian dining experience - Edit
Blu Seoul is pure cozy magic. The vibe is warm and homie, the lighting is just right, and there’s great jazz humming in the background like the room’s heartbeat. The food? I still can’t believe any of it was vegan. The aglio e olio pasta was decadent and silky, garlic-kissed and perfectly salty. The lasagna was unbelievably rich and umami—layered, saucy, and downright luxurious. Then that banana bread landed on the table warm and fragrant. A perfect finish.
Read moreIf I worked for Michelin, I’d star them up ASAP. On top of the food, the service was lovely. The man and woman running the place were kind, generous, and genuinely happy to share what they’ve created. You feel taken care of here.
Whether you’re vegan or just here for exceptional food in a chill, glowing space, Blu Seoul is a must. I’m already planning my return.

I had the gluten free white sauce pasta, it was one of the most delicious meals I had in my trip! I wish I had some gluten free bread to just continue eating the sauce up, that's how good it was! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Good food but bad concept and expensive - Edit
The food quality was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Prices are already very high for Seoul standards, and on top of that, customers are forced to order a drink in order to eat. The cheapest option available was a kombucha for 7,500 KRW and almost the entire drink menu was alcoholic. I personally didn’t want any alcohol, so this policy felt very unfair. Water was supposedly offered at the table, but there were no water glasses available… honestly it felt almost like a joke.

Read moreWe would like to clarify some incorrect information. First of all, Blu Seoul is a wine bar (casual pub). Therefore, each guest is required to order at least one alcoholic drink. However, for guests who do not drink alcohol, we offer four non-alcoholic beverages and two kinds of kombucha, as clearly stated on the menu.
In addition, water and cups are always provided upon request.
Please also note that on Sundays, our business hours are until 9 PM, which was the day of your visit.

I am a huge falafel fan and therefore also picky about the quality. Blu Seoul definitely passed the test. Never had falafel in this way: was topped with soy yogurt en tomato salsa with pickles and dille. Perfect lunch, just enough and not too heavy. Also had the banana bread to go and was yummy

It’s my first time in Seoul, I visited a few vegan places in the city and BLU SEOUL is one of the best. I really like the lasagna (although it was a bit spicy for me), hummus and roasted veges, potato - simple dishes but made with cafe made them special. Took a few glasses of highball cocktails and house wine, very good. Highly recommend it. I’ll definitely visit it again.

The main thing I miss in Seoul - Edit
My friend and I ate here for literally 4 days in a row. I got the lasagna the first day and it was delicious and a decent portion size. We shared the potatoes (unreal). My friend got the falafel and it was to die for. We ate the falafel and potatoes for lunch or dinner for three days. Honestly some of the best falafel I’ve had, anywhere in the world! It was super moist and flavourful. Also got some of the banana bread for dessert and it was so so yummy. Not dry at all and really nice banana flavor with some chocolate chips sprinkled in. I genuinely miss eating here now that I’m home from Korea.

I had the lasagna and white pasta which I recommend. The lasangna is listed as spicy but it's only a mild spicy (coming from caucasian American palette). The atmosphere is nice as well. Would recommend if you need a break from traditional Korean-style food.
