As a starter we had the avocado tartare which was tasty.

Both dished where tasty, especially the tempeh.
Overall - nice, that they offer a wide range of vegan options, but after all, it is also very costly as the dishes are quite small.

Indeed, Blu is a fancy restaurant with clearly marked vegan options, but that's about where the good experience ended. I ordered the 'Avocado' dish that I translated from the menu to be an avocado tartar with tomato and corn. Sounds interesting. Turned out to be essentially a side salad of blended avo on a bag of defrosted corn and tomato, along with some mystery something on top which kind of looked like caviar but tasted like nothing. My omni partner had a kind of pizza that was so thick she couldn't eat more than 10% of it. Maybe the view here is nice but it was raining. San Pallegrino sparkling water is always nice and the table bread with the chilli oil was nice. Going to go home and eat a cliff bar.
